A lovely image of an Angel near the statue of St. Isidro Labrador or St. Isidore in our parish convent.
As the Christmas Season is about to end with the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord I think we have already thanked enough the Blessed Mother as well as St. Joseph, the Magi and also the Shepherds and the manger animals. Now it is time to give thanks and celebrate with the Angels, particulary our Guardian Angels for leading us to God and announcing to us the Will of the Almighty everyday.
May our guardian angels protect and defend us alwasy from the snares of the devil and help us in times of crisis and difficulties. May he enlighten us in moments of darkness and assure our fidelity to Christ for the rest of our lives.
Since my Parish Priest, Fr. Verge is from Pulilan, Bulacan whose ancestry are farmers he is a great devotee of San Isidro the patron of Filipino farmers. According to legend St. Isidore was leaving the field in order to attend the Holy Mass everyday yet his field is always cultivated because an angel is appearing to replace him in work. Well, the Angel of St. Isidore must be a robust angel or someone who looks like him because his friends were thinking that he didn't leave the field at all. So, it is a surprise for me to see a very young and very cute Angel, with baby fats and echanting eyes.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR BEING AT MY SIDE LAST YEAR DEAR GUARDIAN ANGEL. PLEASE BE WITH ME ALWAYS THIS YEAR AND FOREVER. AND, I AM SORRY TOO FOR THOSE TIMES THAT I DIDN'T LISTEN TO YOUR VOICE.
