We pray and sing our joyful praise.

For the cross' sake declining your sword,

You followed Jesus, your sweet Lord.

Giving up earthly honors and wealth,

Out of love you served the poor.

Under our light, along your path, we Aemilians, will

Fulfill the plan of our God who never fails.

From your dungeon and chains,

Mary's love set you free.

The most sweet Savior Christ, purified all your sins,

then you followed the way of the Lord crucified,

finding Him in the poor, in their pains.

You Saint Miani, teach us,

Life is one sacred thing.

A committment for all

to keep safe, pure and rich.

Deeds are better than words both

by mind and by hand.

Work is good, work for Christ,
