The painting in the corridor of the station depicting the Church of Cebu in a classic theme of Greco-Roman arts. After leaving SM Cebu Mrs. Gabatingan brought us to the station of the Archdiocesan Radio to see its beautiful Chapel. And indeed it is very beautiful. It was in the second floor and the light was minimal since we don't know how to open the lights and where the location of the switch were.
I was expecting a simple, bereft Chapel instead I found a very beautiful one of classic design. The materials are of excellent quality which shows that the administrators have given their best to honor the Lord with the best thing that the Archdiocese could offer. Even the chairs can be used for the best Opera House in the country. It is but fitting that the Lord be given priority over the rest. It speaks well of the spirituality and deep religiosity of the Cebuanos.
The very beautiful Altar of the Chapel. Even though the lights were off the Chapel was magnificent in beauty._1.jpg)

May I know if there are kneeler in ase someone wanted to kneel during prayer? What exactly is the podium for commentator of the mass?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately the chairs used for the faithful does not have kneelers even though they are very beautiful and comfortable almost similar to high classed theaters or opera houses. But I have seen some kneelers usually used for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and for Confessions. I think those who want to kneel can use that one. Also, since the place is beautifully furnished and clean and airconditioned it is still confortable even to kneel on the floor.
ReplyDeleteThis is Cebu Catholic Television Network's Chapel. =)
