After a week's absent I am once again blessed to write in this Blog. Thank you for visiting it still despite the lack of new posts. I also found new visitors who recently visited the Blog.
What happened? Well, I went to Cebu in order to join the Retreat-Seminar for Priests on Spiritual Direction, Deliverance and Exorcism sponsored by The Order of the Alliance of Two Hearts. It was a wonderful retreat for me because it gave me the opportunity to be shut for 3 days inside a high quality hotel -- the Parklane Hotel -- where almost 300 of us priests joined together in praying the Breviary, Rosaries, Adoration of the Blessed Sacraments, listening to internationally renown exorcists and hearing very touching life sharing by the lay people after each talk. It was also wonderful to see priests coming from all over the country and we got the chance to meet them on tables.
Our Masses were so wonderful. It was mostly in Latin and in Gregorian Chants and mind you the priests were answering the responses well, singing the Missa de Angelis by heart. Suddenly there is no Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilocano, Chabacano, Bicolano or Ilonggo. All were speaking the One universal language of the One Church of the One Lord and of One God.
I have many things to say and write but I will reserve that later. Please pray for me I got Chicken Pox but is recuperating through the grace of the Lord. I offer my pain for Peace and for the Triump of the Two Hearts: The Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in the world.

Dear Father Abe,
ReplyDeleteI pray that your poxes heals quickly, get well soon and please continue blogging.
All my best wishes,
Ate Luz
Dearest Ate Luz,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your prayers. During this time of sickness besides the maternal presence of Mama Mary and our dear Nanay, my best consolations are your prayers and the caring hand of Ate Len.
Thank you for suggesting to her that I stay in your room for quarantine. I am indeed separated from the rest and feeling comfortable. Of course, the sickness is still here with its pain but with you around I feel stronger than a lion.
Thank you very much.
Glad to see you back. I am also very happy to hear that your retreat went well. Retreats are some of the greatest spiritual steroids. I pray for a quick recovery for you.
ReplyDeleteGod bless and thank you for your service to Christ!
