Inside the Fort San Pedro I was surprised to see a very old House of about 3 floors standing which was not visible from outside. Only later did I found out that it is a National Museum containing ancient artifacts mostly found inside the Fort during archeological diggings.
Obviously the House is too small for a National Museum of the South but its ancient structure is already a historical piece in itself. Besides it does not appear as an ambitious Museum by trying to bring in everything that it can find. Instead she limits her collections to artifacts related to her history.
I didn't find any guardians in the ground floor of the Museum so I thought that picture taking was allowed and I started showering things with camera shots. When I reached the second floor only then was I told that cameras are not allowed. So, these things shown here are from the lowest ground. The second and third floor however, has more treasury to show.
