CEBU TRIP Part 1 At NAIA 3 On the Way to Cebu

Mr. Rosauro Amistoso, AITV5's Techinical Director, Fr. Javier San Jose, CRS, Ms. Michilina Carpio [Ate Ling] and the elder sister of Fr. Javier inside the NAIA Terminal 3.

Last January 29, 2009 three members of our Religious Community were asked to go to Cebu in order to attend the Blessing and Inauguration of our new seminary and orphanage [house for needy youth... Orphans, Street Children, Maltreated, Abandoned, etc.]. The three chosen were Fr. Lino Juta, CRS [the Superior], Fr. Augusto Dingal, CRS [the Vice Superior] and Fr. Abe Arganiosa, CRS [the finance officer]. We left the Convent at 10:30am.

The beautiful passageway of the Airport

Then when we reached the terminal of vans for Legazpi City we were very happy to see Ms. Michilina Carpio, our beloved Social Worker assigned in the Provincial Hospital who prioritize our kids everytime we are in need of medical treatment. She will be with us in to Cebu as part of the team from Casa Miani - Sorsogon. Fr. Javier arrived few minutes later so that the representatives of two houses are now joined together.

Airport Booths were tickets are being checked up

We decided to hire a van so that there will be enough space for our bags. We were very happy during the trip to Legazpi; we were even joking that in case of air disaster almost all the officials of two Houses shall be wiped out. Ate Ling was heard telling: "O the Lord forbid, Mama Mary will protect us!" She did!

When we reached the Legazpi Airport the sister of Fr. Javier joined us and after arranging our things we took our lunch together. Our supposedly 1:00pm flight became 2:00pm due to delay of the plane. It was a very safe trip. The pilot wonderfully manuevered the plane so that we could hardly feel the rising and the touchdown of the plane.

Rosauro, Fr. Lino and Fr. Augie while we were transferring to another part of the Airport in order to take another plane to bring us to Cebu City.
When we reached the Ninoy Aquino International Airport [NAIA] Terminal 3 [for Domestic flights] we walked a long way in order to find the place where we shall board another plane bound for Cebu. Well, I loved it because we were able to see the larger part of the Airport which I failed to visit before. I was delighted by its wide space, soothing lighting and cool airconditioning.

Fr. Augie taking shots, Fr. Lino and Kuya Sau. Actually due to these shots Fr. Augie failed to notice the end of the escalator and he fell on the ground. Though having a camera on my hand I decided not to take shot to record the incident out of respect to the guy.
Despite the delayed flights I was satisfied because I finished re-reading St. Paul's Letter to the Romans in Magandang Balita Biblia and put notes with the texts that is necessary for my apologetic works later on. It is also very nice that while we were in plane our talking were minimal because everybody were holding their Rosaries and were praying, for our safety and to acknowledge the Splendor of God manifested in the beauty of the sky around us.

Excellent lighting and good distribution of sunlight
