CEBU TRIP, Part 5 The Holy Mass

Fr. Richard Germanetto, CRS our Superior in the Major Seminary at Tagaytay City greets the main celebrant, Bishop John Du, DD of Dumaguete.

The celebration of the Holy Mass was very simple but memorable. The seminarians served like Angels before the golden Altar of Heaven. The Vox Orphanorum sung like Cherubims. It was a wonderful experience to be part of this historic event wherein the Charism of St. Jerome has finally established itself and welcomed with love in the Queen City of the South.

We want to express our Gratitude to God for the realization of this dream which was previously thought impossible during our lifetime. The Lord is kind and generous and he has blessed our Congregation in the Philippines beyond our measure: the gifts of vocation and the gift of growth in mission.

Once again we express our warmest Congratulations to Fr. Luigi Brenna, CRS the Superior of the House for the wonderful celebrations. To Fr. Menandro Rivera, CRS for the very good formation of the Seminarians. To Bro. Ronald Badillo, CRS for his valuable service as Master of Ceremony during the Mass, we appreciate a lot your efforts and hardwork and to Bro. Narcing Tiburcio, CRS for the caring of the children. They were wonderful and they behaved well before, during and after the Mass. You have shown to us the excellent quality of our Somascan formation of Children.

We also recognize the hardwork of our Fr. Provincial and his grand vision for the development of the Congregation in the Philippines. Together with him we remember the Father General who blessed and supported this mission.
