Although I am glad as a Filipino of the triumph of Lapu-Lapu in the Battle of Mactan yet I am also grateful that when Miquel Lopez de Legazpi came about 5o years later this great warrior was no longer around to stop the spread of the Catholic Faith in the country.

Of course I am not in favor of Spanish Invasion of the Philippines but at the same time I am grateful that Christianity came through the coming of the Spaniards. Otherwise, the entire nation is either pagan in its religions or dominated by Islam. I am glad that I am not wearing a G-String right now and worshipping the spirits of nature and singing and dancing around the trees, or on top of the hills like the way Born Again or Evangelicals were dancing around crazy disco like.

The Israelites worshipped a Golden Calf, our forefathers preferred Skulls of Calves. Bah, pagan worshippers have something in common. They all love cows... both were followers of Chicago Bulls. He,he,he... [It's a joke, that one about the Chicago Bulls]

Those so called spirits of nature are actually demons. We do not worship the spirits of the world but the Creator-Spirit -- GOD THE AUTHOR OF LIFE. Thus, I thank Him for bringing the country into the genuine faith from Jerusalem to Rome, from Rome to Spain, from Spain to the Philippines.
