Cebu Metropolitan Museum - Part 3 Valuable Remembrance from Cardinal Vidal

The Late Julio Cardinal Rosales

This section of the Archdiocesan Museum is dedicated to the present Cardinal Archbishop of Cebu, the much beloved and respected shepherd of the Church in the South, Ricardo Cardinal Vidal.

On this section we can see some of his vestments used during special events of his life including the red vestments he used during the last Conclave watched by billions of people during its opening ceremonies wherein Pope Benedict XVI was elected as successor to Pope John Paul the Great.
Including in the treasures contained therein are the pieces of papers handwritten by the late Mother Teresa of Calcutta, known as the Saint of the Gutters, as the letter she personally sent to Cardinal Vidal. This letter may not be very important historically but in the Catholic Faith it is a great treasure because it is a relic of one of the greatest saints of contemporary time.
