FR. ABE: Yesterday evening Atty. Marwil Llasos posted in his blog an article LIAR, LIAR! by which he denounced the deception committed by Rodimus who claimed that the last part of John 4:5 is rendered 'Joseph the son' which the cowardly heretic was trying to employ as a weapon against the Perpetual Virginity of Mary. Unfortunately for him, Bro. Mars noticed it and made him accountable for that blunder because no major English Bible give that rendition instead it is presented as 'Joseph his son'. Like a beast stung by a bee RODIMUS THE COWARD immediately responded last night, claiming the Fall of Defensores Fidei on the Bible. Instead, he found himself FALLING WITH LUCIFER THE DECEIVER. Here is his response then it is followed by the faster response of Atty. Mars entitled LIAR, LIAR Part II. As a treat I also presented the comments and responses exchanged by RODIMUS THE LIAR and the Catholic Apologists including yours truly.

Before I give my rebuttal to all previous post of Atty. Marwil Llasos on the Perpetual Virginity, I would like to immediately address his recent article titled, Liar Liar.

I quoted John 4:5 where I stated the existence of the phrase "the son" and reasoned out that it does not necessarily follow that the article "the" means exclusive to one (since Joseph is not only Jacob's child). This is to counter the Roman Catholics use of Mark 6:3 wherein Jesus is said to be "the son" of Mary to imply he is the only child of Mary.

The point of Atty. Llasos article is, after quoting several ENGLISH Bibles:

So, Rodimus of the Bereans, with neither compunction nor shame, lied to us when he claimed that Joseph is mentioned to be THE SON OF JACOB in John 4:5. It's not just there. He lied, didn't he?

It's a Greek Interlinear of the Bible. In John 4:5 you will find: HO HUIOS. When translated to English is THE SON. Of course, many English translations did not translate it as "the son", but we all know that the New Testament was written in GREEK. What is important is the Greek Manuscript.

This shows the weakness and ignorance of Defensores Fidei Foundation on the Bible and the skill of exegesis. What credibility does your group have now because of this fatal error? Who is the liar now? I saved a copy of your post so I will have a trail of evidence in case you edit or delete it.It has now become obvious how weak and ignorant you are in the Bible. Apparently stung by my post below, Rodimus took me to task and claimed that -

Rodimus is a case of a liar who is still in a denial stage. He clumsily tries to cover his back by trying to turn the table. Actually, all his conclusions backfires on his face (Oh, I forgot! He has none).

He claims that HO HUIOS is in the Greek manuscript of John 4:5? Dream on, Rodimus.

Here's what John 4:5 says in Greek: “erchetai oun eis polin tEs samareias legomenEn suchar plEsion tou chOriou ho edOken iakOb [tO] iOsEph tO huiO autou.”

There's no HO HUIOS there! Maybe constant lying makes a person suffer from dyslexia. Worse, from monumental blindness which prevents Rodimus of the Bereans see reality.

Get your Nestle Aland if you have any and read it: "to huio autou".

So what credibility does this absolute coward and pathological liar have?

So, when are you DEBATING me to settle this once and for all? I'm waiting!

Rodimus, why do the English versions of the Bible (see Atty Llasos blog article on this) render the original Greek version of John 4:5 as "his son" and not "the son?"

In the Revised Standard version, it is rendered as:

So he came to a city of Samar'ia, called Sy'char, near the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph

Is it because the English translators used the most common Greek manuscript/s that say/s "to huio?"

I admit I'm no Greek expert. Please lecture me.
