Bro. Allan Tura, Fr. Abe & Michael
The last time I received a visit from Bro. Allan was two years ago when he came with his group to do children's show for kids in Sorsogon City. Since then we only communicated through this Blog until we both became very busy in our own works.

Last Holy Saturday, April 11, 2009 at about 11:00pm while I was resting at home after the long celebration of Easter Vigil which my Parish Priest decided to hold a little early: 8:00pm I received a visit from Allan. It was a surprise to me because it was unexpected, although when we were younger he really used to visit me at home together with other Somascan seminarians from our area such as Bro. Anthony Jeresano and others. I was in front of computer then sending Easter greetings to our readers the world over since the Philippines is one of the countries celebrating the Great Feast of the Lord's Resurrection ahead of the countries of the West.
Fr. Abe with Joseph and Michael
Allan was accompanied by Joseph his companion in the Children's Theater Company and Michael, one of the young Knights of the Altar who used to serve in the parish during his younger days. I remember him joining the Brothers in the Masses before. He is now a young professional but still close to the Church and to the brothers.
Allan and I had a lot of time to inquire about each other; to know each other's activities while the two boys were very delighted to talk to a priest asking advises on many practical aspect of life. On my part, I was glad to be of help to these young people who have so many questions about the meaning of life. It reminds me of the Easter candle which is the symbol of Christ who is the light of the world. Let the light of Christ shine in our hearts and from us to enlighten the others as well.
