SAGRADA FAMILIA - DIOCESE OF MALOLOS' NEWEST PARISH

Rev. Fr. Virgilio 'Verge' Ramos [Sto. Rosario Parish present Rector], a priest from a nearby parish, Bishop Jose Oliveros of Malolos, Rev. Fr. Josefino 'Jovi' Victor Sebastian [our beloved former parish priest] and Fr. Abe.

Last Easter Sunday [April 12, 2009] at 4:00pm Fr. Verge and I attended the inauguration of the newest parish in Sapang Palay, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan.

Our presence is a must because the new parish was formerly part of our own Sto. Rosario Parish [Holy Rosary Parish] so that the presence of the former parish priest is required. On my part, it is important for me because I used to celebrate Mass for that parish since I was ordained because the people there had adopted me as their own since we belong to one parish when I was ordained. Being the first Sapang Palay born Ordained Priest I am specially loved by all the chapels of the entire parish then, now subdivided into 3 parishes with one satellite sub parish.

I have taken a lot of shots during the celebration unfortunately the USB device where I stored the photos have been corrupted. The corruption occurred the day after I blessed CEU with exorcised Holy Water. The malignant spirits must have been very angry with me so that when I reached home I was quivering with fever and stayed on bed for two days and when I tried to open my files almost all documents, including the apologetic files I collected for years have been corrupted. Please help me pray for some experts to be able to recover the files.

These three photos are all that remained out of the shots I've taken during the Inauguration. It's a pity because being a minister of the Church I was in the best position then to take shots. I really wanted you to see the facade and the interior of the Church, the face of the new parish priest, the seminarians during the celebrations, the thousands of people who attended the historic event and the Bishop delivering his heart warming and very relevant homily for the occasion.

Some seminarians from the Diocesan Seminary in Guiginto, Bulacan preparing for the Solemn Mass during the new Parish Inauguration.

I think the reason why these photos have been preserved because I was not able to erase them from the camera. Since this is the first time that our former parish priest, Fr. Jovi appeared in Sapang Palay again in a public gathering after leaving for Bocaue, Bulacan almost 9 years ago. And this is also the first time that he is united with his successor, Fr. Verge in a public event in Sapang Palay. These two Cura Paroco have done a lot for our Parish and for our people for that reason they are both greatly loved and esteemed by our faithful. God bless them both.

My two beloved parish priests again with Bishop Oliveros and a guest priest.

I do apologize po Father for the corruption of your files. When I learned that when you're not feeling well after your CEU visit, i discerned that maybe after you performed exorcism in our place. may kutob na po ako nun that these evil spirits might got revenge at you po. although nagdadalawang isip po ako father mag pa exorcise ng place namin, nag pursue parin ako na mag request sa inyo since it is our opportunity to have you to bless and exorcise our place. if we will request other priests, bka pag tawanan or mag doubt po sila samin.

I felt ashamed for that po Father. I do hope, hindi po kayo madala samin if ever we invite you again po to our university.

May the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Mantle of Our Lady with Saint Michael and St. Benedict be your protection always.

Rest assured po of our Daily Prayers and Holy Masses.

In the Light of the Immaculate,

    Bro. Jayson

  2. Dear Bro. Jayson,

Thank you so much for your prayers.

Brother, don't ever think that because of what had happened I will be deterred in doing my duties as minister of the Lord. Deliverance ministry is part of our duties as shepherd of souls.

Concerning the files, the Lord gives and the Lord takes. Blessed be the Name of the Lord. I believe that He will return it to me soon because He is kind and merciful. He doesn't try us beyond our capacity to endure. I do not take it against you and CEU. Not at all. It is a challenge from the Lord, that's all.

Of course I am willing to return still. That fact doesn't change because of my two day fever or lost of files. Life must go on. And part of our life is spiritual struggle.

By the way, people might think that I am a duly authorized exorcist. NO, NO, NO. What I did in CEU is blessed the Water and Salt with official prayers for Exorcised Holy Water. Any priest can do that by wearing purple stole and following of the formula. Then, I sprinkled certain areas where the students requested me to do so and recited prayer of deliverance over them.

God bless you Bro. Jayson. Regards to TJ and April.

Don't worry my own pics of CEU are preserved. More to post about that visit. It so happened that I have so many things to post these days.

  6. I'm very sorry to inform you that I am not in Bulacan today but in Bicol so I am not familiar with the change of assignments. What I only know is that the Parish Priest of Sto. Rosario - Fr. Verge Ramos asked to be transferred to be near his mother who is of very old age and our former assistant Parish Priest, Fr. Ted will become the new Parish Priest to succeed him.

    God bless you.

  8. INDEED, MY GOOD FRIEND AND BELOVED BROTHER AND FORMER PARISH PRIEST FR. VERGE RAMOS WAS TRANSFERRED FROM SAPANG PALAY TO THE PARISH OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN MALOLOS. OUR LOSS IS THEIR GAIN. FR. VERGE IS A VERY COMPETENT ADMINISTRATOR, AN HONEST TO GOODNESS LEADER, A HARDWORKING SHEPHERD AND A GOOD PRIEST. MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT BE UPON HIM IN HIS NEW ASSIGNMENT.

O, it seems that you are his parishioner now. Please extend my love and affection to Fr. Verge and to Ate Jeannie... Tell them that I miss them so. I will find time to visit them once I got the opportunity.

    God bless you.
