Official Invitation and Announcement for the Diaconate of Bro. Erwin Manalang, CRS and Bro. Enrico Balderrama CRS
With joy I am honored to inform the public that two of our Somascan Religious will be ordained to the Order of Deacon this coming May 28, 2009.
These two young religious are dear to our hearts. Bro. Erwin, CRS just recently graduated Magna cum Laude in Theology. He was my companion in Casa Miani Sorsogon for two years during his practicuum or pastoral training to religious life. Bro. Erwin is a very hard working religious, very kind and dedicated. He is also a joy to be with and very inquisitive due to his God-given intelligence. He is a very humble religious.
On the other hand, Bro. Enrico is dear to our heart because he came from Sorsogon. He is a former student of Aemilianum College where he studied agriculture. He is also a very hardworking man, silent type but very joyful in conversation. He is a man of few words but dedicated in his service to God. He is now assigned in Casa Miani in Dumaguete City where he is serving our orphans and needy children in the south.
PRAISE THE LORD FOR THE GIFT OF VOCATION! May the Blessed Mother protect and bless these two servants of the Lord.

FR. ABE,
ReplyDeleteI can’t reach other website to talk about my town and have my concerns be addressed but by this blog to the Bishop of Sorsogon and his predecesors.
To His Excellency,
The Bishop of Sorsogon,
It is outrageous indeed to see one of the most beautiful emblems of Bulusan, the church belfry, is under attack by a huge destructive project for the benefit of few people. The belfry has stood in our midst since the birth of the parish in the 1600s and became a beacon of hope for the faithful and our pride as a whole. Now, a gasoline station is being constructed right beneath it obstracting the beauty of a majestic belfry made up of coral limestones.
This is a call though it is really a small voice to the Bishop to take a look at the instance of destructions and ask the people who live there on what they feel. There are people out there putting up a stand to make a voice to stop it. Listen!
May God bless us all.
