The Adoration Chapel of the Pink Sisters in Tagaytay City

The Adoration Chapel of the Pink Sisters

The Adoration Chapel of the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters is famous in Tagaytay because numerous priests, seminarians, nuns and adorers of the Blessed Sacrament from all over the Philippines are usually entering this place to pray and to worship the Eucharistic Lord.

The Car Park guarded by the Statue of St. Michael the Archangel
The place is simply called Pink Sisters because the comtemplative nuns living in the monastery and are leading the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Chapel, day in and out, 24 hours a day are wearing pink religious habit. It has become a mark of distinction for them in the eyes of the public so that it became their popular identiy and name.

The Statue of St. Michael the Archangel
This monastery and chapel just like the other houses of our contemplative religious are spiritual font of graces for the Church and the world. Here people are coming to contemplate the goodness of the Lord, here they come to shed tears for their sins and to unburden their problems. Here, the Catholic souls are in front of the sapphire throne of mercy of Jesus by which he comes into our life as our Divine Master in the appearane of a Bread.
The Chapel viewed from the Car Park
During our four years of theology in Divine Word School of Theology we used to frequent this place in between classes or after classes or breaktime or even in the afternoon since our classes were only in the morning. The theology students who used to visit the school library are mostly visiting Jesus in this Chapel as well because there is a small road connecting our Theology School to this Chapel. During summer time and when we are given permissions by our superiors we used to walk from our seminary to pray here.
The large Crucifix in the garden in front of the Chapel
Visiting Jesus and talking to him in great silence as the one prevalent in this place is always a blessing and is soothing to the heart. It is further supported by the reigning silence and serenity of the place, the beauty of its gardens and the examples of deep devotions from the Sisters themselves.

If you happen to visit Tagaytay City please don't forget to visit this heavenly place. It will be a blessing for you too as it did to the previous visitors, the seminarians and the priests of Tagaytay.

A portion of the garden in front of the Chapel
It's a pity that only the pictures of Jose survived. I also had a picture taking along its gardens but unfortunately I lost them. I decided to pass by this Chapel to pray and to capture the beauty of the Church in its Chapel, Garden and its Spirituality and of course to have a souvenir shots also within the area but those shots are gone. Well, next time. The Ten Commandments shrined in Stone Tablets in front of the Chapel

  1. Aaah, the quiet convent of the pink sisters. I wish that all the churches are that quiet too.

  2. Our Somascan Major Seminary in Tagaytay City is also like that most of the time although it is also affected by noise during our sports activities. But Somascans cherish silence very much. Our Italian Somascan Fathers repeatedly reminds us: GOD CANNOT BE FOUND IN NOISE BUT IN SILENCE.

Of course the silence in the convents and monasteries of the Contemplative Religious like the Pink Sisters and the monks is deeper and more constant. Indeed, they are heavens on earth. Each is like a nearby Mout Sinai, a place to encounter God in silence.

  3. Dear Sisters,
I am writing from the United States to inquire about the possibility of entering your convent
I have been diserning a contempletive vocation for some time now, but due to having parents in which to care for my own desire had to be delayed I only hope that I am not too late, I am health, debt free and an RN. God be with you always,

  4. Dear Linda,

I praise the Lord for your willingness to serve Him by entering the contemplative Pink Sisters. Unfortunately this is not their official Blog and I don't have direct contact with them. I simply reported about my visit to that Community.

God bless you and my prayers are with you in your search for vocation.

  5. Dear Linda-

If you have not found other websites for Pink Sister communities, try this one:

    http://www.mountgraceconvent.org/

That is their community in St. Louis MO, or this one:

    http://www.adorationsisters.org/

which is the website of their convent in Philadelphia. They're a lovely order. They have many convents throughout the US, and in Europe and the Phillipines as well.

  9. Hi I'm Elaine this is the most frustrating point of my life. I'm a single mother and my ex live in partner who is the father of my child is a drug addict and has a case falsification by a public officer. My mom is working in the States and is a tyrant. She wants me to finish nursing and she wants me to study nursing and give my daughter to ryan's parents in pangasinan. When I was still single she is giving me money but now I' jobless and a single mother she is ashamed of me because who would want an undergraduate and a disgraced woman she told me I have nothing to offer. I've been praying and I'm losing hope she and my brother favors our maid and the maid is handling all the expenses she is also giving toys, shirt to ryan and relatives. She even gives ryan's niece and nephews. She is cutting me off to the people who loves me like my friends. I left the house with my and lived with my uncle for more than 3 months it's actually very old ancestral house. Tita Cora also lives in the same compound lives much comfortably because my mom is giving her, her husband and her 8 children. with what they need.

  10. Good morning Have a blessed morning to all of us
Lord thanks for all the blessings that You have given us day by day, especially for our lives. As well thanks for all the problems that made us even stronger everyday.
May You forgive us for all our sins and for those who have sinned against us.
Lord kindly gave us the strength and the courage to face bravely our problems. May we have our 100 faith in You that what You have given us is for us to be a better person and to give us troubles. Help us to have a clear and positive mind, that everything happens for a reason and what you have given us is what’s good for us.
Lord we have so many wants but I don’t want to ask all of those material things here because even without asking You have given us more than what we asked for and still we ask for more. I would rather ask for good health, my brother and sisters to finish their studies and help us to have 100 faith in you. And I think those material wants is for us to work hard for and not to ask you to give it to us.
May these simple thoughts of mine help a lot of people to believe in You and do things according to Your way.
    Love you LORD

  12. Very easy once you are in Tagaytay City you can ask for direction and people will point you to the right direction. It is near the Divine Word School of Theology and only about 500 meter from the Tagaytay Circle with the Statue of Sen. Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino.

  35. Dear Fr. Abe,
Good day, I am writing this letter because i need someone who can help to surpass the pains and sufferings I am experiencing right know, Kasal na po ako for more than ten years,28 pa lang po aq maaga ako nag asawa, masaya naman po kame na nag sasama sa first 5 years namin hanggang dumating na ang sunod sunod na pag subok samin.

God bless.

  43. thank you father for the prayers, God is really good that He touched my husband's heart but i am sorry that i can't make it to your church, however my husband and I went to manila cathedral church and also to quiapo church for confession and for blessings. he already realized what he had done, he was troubled by his conscience when we went to bohol churhes last May 27. when we went to dauis church of our lady of assumption, he saw me praying with tears continuously flowing in my eyes, he asked me why are you crying? i said "hindi ko alam, basta tuloy tuloy ang luha ko na parang may yumakap skin at nagcomfort" its my first time to pray with those tears and that hinted my husband to tell the truth.hindi ko na pinatagal ang panahon, i don't want to leave him in desperation, i know he needs me coz i am the one with strength & courage. though there are still gossips in their office,i told him to face them humbly that no man is pure and clean to judge others and God always forgive. i praise Bossing (as i call Him) for we are back in each others arms and He will always be the center of our relationship.

  46. Dear Fr. Abe,

Fr. Abe, please include me in your prayers na sana i can go out of this house dahil hindi ko na din ma take ginagawa ng kapatid ko sa akin.

  79. Dear Father Abe,

Please pray for me and my very good friend. We're both facing a lot of issues and problems at our work. And I know that we can both get through with those thru our prayers. Father, I humbly ask for you to please do include us in your prayers. Please pray for us and our families. And please pray for us to be absorb in our work. We're both volunteer nurses at a certain hospital and we're just waiting for us to be absorb by them and be regular staffs. We both know that we can help both of our families if we do get this job. And we will both accept whatever our dear Lord's plans for us. I know He has a good plan for the both of us. I have a great faith on Him. May the Lord God bless you, Father. Thank you so much!

  81. I THINK 37 IS STILL A GOOD AGE TO ENTER THE PINK SISTERS. TRY TO VISIT THEM AND TALK TO THE MOTHER ABBESS.

  82. Dear Father Abe,
Please pray for me, I am feeling depressed. I don't know what to do. I am losing hope. I feel like the guy I love is already falling out of love with me because I did something that made him really mad. I really miss him, I miss us. Please pray for us Father, for him. I am humbly asking for the Lord to give him guidance, to let him decide on what to do with our personal problems. I don't want him to leave me Father. I am asking for the Lord to let him know that I can change, I will change, I will be a better woman for him.
    Thank you so much Father!

ASK THE PRAYERS OF SAINTS WHO COMMITTED GRAVE MISTAKES YET PARDONED BY THE LOVE OF GOD LIKE ST. PETER, ST. PAUL, ST. MARY MAGDALENE, ST. AUGUSTINE AND OTHERS. MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND MAY HE SEND FORTH THE HOLY SPIRIT TO YOUR BF SO THAT HE WILL LEARN TO FORGIVE. MAY HIS LOVE BE GREATER THAN HIS ANGER AND PAIN AND DISAPPOINTMENT.

  84. Good day Fr. Abe.

May I ask, how are the Somascans related to the monks in Pink Sisters?

I know this is not the right medium to ask such question, but I can't help it though I will be visiting the place in 2 days.

  85. THEY ARE NOT RELATED AT ALL EXCEPT IN FRIENDSHIP AND HAVING ONE AND THE SAME FAITH AND BAPTISM. HE HE HE...

  86. Hi everyone!

To those who are passionate in entering the congregation of the Sister-Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration (popularly known as the Pink Sisters), you have to visit them personally at their congregation in Maitim 2nd East, Tagaytay City.

Everyone is welcome at their holy place. The Mother Superior just recently told me that no matter what age are you in, as long as you have the VOCATION, you can still enter their congregation.

Just forget the numbers and commit your life to Lord God.

May God bless us all in our endeavors.

  89. Hello sisters. Please pray for our upcoming Holy Week Missions in Batangas. In particular, please pray that: 1) God move the hearts of young men to give their Holy Week to Christ in the mission; 2) That God use us to touch the lives of those who most need it by means of the missions; 3) that God grant a true missionary spirit to all our missionaries, and that they leave transformed & ready to give themselves more to Christ
