Enjoying Tagaytay City Scenery Again Even For a Brief Moment

Fr. Abe before the view overlooking Taal Lake
After the Diaconate of Rev. Erwin and Rev. Enrico I wanted to go to Somascan Sisters' Retreat House in Tagaytay City in order to have a perfect view of the Taal Volcano and Lake. This is to treat Jose, my companion from Sorsogon, who visited Tagaytay for the first time. It was also his first time to see Metro Manila, the capital city since he was at the age of ten.

Unfortunately, Tagaytay City was covered by thick fog that afternoon. The weather suddendly turned very cold and it was impossible to view the renown lake and volcano. So, I decided to proceed to the Pink Sisters immediately where we prayed and had some picture taking on its gardens.
When we were leaving the Adoration Chapel we found out that the fog had disappeared and the majestic view of Tagaytay was once again unfolded before our eyes. We will be delayed if we would return to the Somascan Sisters so I decided to show Jose the full magnificence of the City on the view deck just before we turned left toward Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
The cloud was still thick but the view was clear. Tagaytay City on top a high mountain overlooking parts of Batangas with its volcano and lake. I have seen this view countless times yet it doesn't fail to amaze me each time I look at it. Standing on Tagaytay view decks overlooking Taal makes me feel like an eagle soaring on the sky.
