Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament Inside Government Office

The Chapel of NTC in Quezon City

I have visited the building of National Telecommunication Office in Quezon City several times already and everytime I was there the presece of small Catholic altars in the offices of the personnel there always amuse me. They have images of Our Lady of Fatima, icons of Perpetual Help, small images of the Sacred Heart, of the Holy Cross and of the Holy Child. These are placed either on their tables or in a small space attached to the wall near them. The manifestations of the Catholic faith is very palpable which is so heart warming knowing that in some parts of the world such showing of faith is strictly prohibited... even among the so-called free country of the West.

Much more that the personall altars, I was deliriously happy to discover or re-discover again the existence of a Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. It is quite a small room but it the presence of the Blessed Sacrament is prominent even though I am not sure if there is indeed a Sacred Host inside since there is no residence priest in that building.
The chapel is also being used for regular Eucharistic Celebrations. There are Mass guides, Liturgical Manuals such as a complete Missal and even handbooks of Christian Prayers.
May the Lord sustain the faith of these people in NTC.

I was also fortunate to surprisingly encounter one of our former students Ms. Elsa Frago. She is now working in a Cable TV company stationed in Manila and in Batangas. God bless her and all the alumni of ACI.
