WHY DO WE CALL MARY 'IMMACULATE'? Question from my Friendster Account

Dear Algen,

Mary is Immaculate because she is SINLESS. Biblical proofs:

1. Genesis 3:15 The Mother of the Messiah will be in Perpetual Enmity with the Serpent = Satan. If Mary has committed sin or tainted by sin then there was a moment that she became under the influence of Satan thus no longer in perpetual enmity with evil.

2. Luke 1:28 Mary is Immaculate because she is Full of Grace. In Greek 'Kecharitomene' or in Latin 'Gratia Plena'.

3. Luke 1:35 Mary is Immaculate because she is Overshadowed by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

4. Rev. 12:1 Mary is Immaculate because she is the Woman Clothed with the Sun... The Woman who gave birth to the King of Kings is clothed with light which signifies total holiness and purity.

  2. BY CITING PASSAGES FROM THE BIBLE THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE RIGHTEOUS!

    Here are some of them:

    Genesis 7:1 "And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation." [Is God the Father telling a lie when He said that Noah was righteous before Him?]

    Genesis 15:6 "And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness." [This is Abraham]

    Psalm 34:17 "The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles." [This verse is a lie if there are no righteous.]

    Matthew 10:41 "He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward." [There is a righteous man]

    Matthew 13:17 "For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them." [If there are no righteous men then the Lord Jesus is lying here. That is absurd.]

    Luke 1:6 "And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless."

    THESE ARE ONLY SOME CITATIONS. YOU SEE THE BORN AGAIN ARE DECEIVING YOU IN INTERPRETING ROM. 3:28 AS ABSOLUTE.

  4. My message for tomorrow's Feast is that we have to give thanks to God for giving us the Lord Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior and also we have to thank God because He chose to give us Jesus through Mary, the Immaculate Mother of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, TRUE GOD AND TRUE MAN.
