These photos show the Closing Ceremony of the Media Olympics 2009 held in Sorsogon City. From 7:00pm to 12:00mn the media people of Sorsogon joined together as one in celebrating the Freedom of the Media and the bonding of Friendship with each other.

The City Mayor Leovic Dioneda joined the celebrations but left early because of other commitments. The son of the Governor, Mr. Bobet Lee, also joined the event and stayed until the end. He was so happy with his group, the Green Group, that won the overall crown this year.

Beside the awarding of Prizes, Medals and Trophies the night culminated in the Signing of the Covenant prepared by KBP Sorsogon Chapter by which the media practitioners vowed not to bring publicly on air their differences with each other. The station managers and owners also signed as a promise to seriously practice self-regulation on those who will violate the Covenant. After some parts of the draft were clarified by KBP officials the entire body signed the said Covenant without a single member abstaining. BLESSED BE THE LORD.
