Marian Contest Held in Aemilianum College Last Aug. 15, 2009, Part 2 Closing and Awarding of Prizes with Gov. Sally Lee

Our Lady of Peace... of Fatima

In the afternoon of August 15, 2009 the Board of Judges finalized their common decision for the winners of the Marian Contest. Our Provincial Governor, Mrs. Sally Lee came in person to greet the students and to distribute prizes which include Trophies and a small amount of money for the students.

Despite the fact that the Governor was about to go to Manila she decided to drop by in order to honor the Blessed Virgin by being with the students. It explains why she is dressed for travel in the photos. The Governor was very happy to be present because she is very active in the Marian Movement in the Province even before she run for public office.

The event was organized by Mr. Danovan and the Student Council leaders headed by Mr. Anjoe Jesalve. They were assisted by Mrs. Sarmiento and our High School Principal, Mrs. Dionesia Sesbreno led the board of Judges. She was joined by Ms. Salva and Mrs. Julie Ann Cleto.

One of the winning piece in the art work competition. It depicts the Assumption of Mary as Coming Home to Christ wherein all people are belonging to One Family of God nourished by the Word of God and Prayer-Worship.
