The Good Samaritan lovingly cares for the sick person
State of health of the Fr. Moreno
Dearest confreres,
on behalf of Fr. Giorgio Novelli, who is attending a meeting of Major superiors in Turin, I am sending you some update about Fr. Moreno. As you all know, he has been admitted to the Cottolengo Hospital in Turin less than a week ago. According to the doctors, his health conditions are quickly getting worse. Fr. Pierino is living his last days before going to heaven. His liver is not working well. We are at the final stage, but he is not suffering because of pain killers. He swtiches from periods when he is awake (though he is not able to reason with a clear mind) to periods of drowsiness.
We thank God for the gift Fr. Moreno has been to our Congregation and we draw closer to him by love and prayer to share such an important moment that prepares him to meet the Lord.
