These days I am debating on line in this Blog the Dating Daan intruders. And, I am very happy because a young Catholic Apologist is one of those who valiantly and brilliantly helped me refute the claims of the Dating Daan apologists who are unanimous. One of them is named Eugene. Our young apologist, Bro. Beltran, O.P. answered and refuted him well. This young man is a new recruit of DFF in apologetics and is at present studying apologetics under Atty. Marwil Llasos and from time to time getting direction from me. A truly rising star of Catholic Apologetics like Bro. Franz and Bro. Rudolf. Here is his response:

I WOULD LIKE TO COMMENT ON EUGENE'S IGNORANCE OF THE SCRIPTURES.

The Bible shows that SOLOMON KNELT BEFORE the Altar (1 Kings 8:54)

The obvious ignorance of EUGENE is that, he never knew that MOST HOLY PLACE in the Temple of God have TWO GIGANTIC IMAGES OF CHERUBIMS (2 Chronicles 3:10) ASIDE from the two Cherubs placed upon the Ark (Exodus 25:18)

in short, in the most holy place, there are at least FOUR GRAVEN IMAGES.. now, how do the People of God worship during those days?

ANS: They offer sacrifices BEFORE the ARK (which bore two images of Cherubims)

1 KINGS 3:15 - Solomon offered sacrifice BEFORE THE ARK

1 CHRONICLE 16:4 - Levitical Priests offered praise of THANKS GIVING BEFORE THE ARK

1 CHRONICLE 16:37 - Some were tasked to MINISTER BEFORE THE ARK

1 CHRONICLE 16:40 - They are to OFFER SACRIFICES BEFORE THE ARK

2 SAMUEL 6:17 - David offered sacrifice before the ARK.

QUESTION TO EUGENE: Does the worship or sacrifices they did makes them IDOL-WORSHIPPERS?

JOSHUA and his companions even PROSTRATED BEFORE THE ARK! (JOSHUA 7:6)

Now there are simple QUESTIONS i would like to ask you MR. EUGENE!! .

1) DO YOU ADMIT THAT THERE WERE GRAVEN IMAGES INSIDE GOD'S TEMPLE? (2 Chronicles 3:15, Exodus 25:18)

2) DO YOU ADMIT THAT THE PEOPLE OF GOD IN THE FIRST COVENANT WORSHIP GOD BEFORE THE ARK? OR FACING THE MOST HOLY PLACE?(LUKE 1:9)

Facing someTHING while you worship does not neccesarily mean you WORSHIP IT. otherwise, KING DAVID HIMSELF would be GUILTY OF IDOLATRY..

"I will praise Thee (God) with my whole heart; BEFORE THE GODS will i sing praise unto thee" (Psalms 138:1 KJV)

Does it mean MR. EUGENE, KING DAVID already PRAISE these GODS besides the ONLY TRUE GOD??

The LORD LOOKS ON THE HEART!! (1 SAMUEL 16:7) He is not SHALLOW MINDED AS YOUR god Eli Soriano is!!

Consider the BIBLICAL ANALOGY:

What does God forbid? he PROHIBITED THE IMAGES OF OTHER GODS (Deuteronomy 7:25)

THESE GODS tended to TAKE AWAY THE BELIEVERS FROM GOD ( Deuteronomy 31:18)

THEY ARE CALLED IDOLS (Psalms 106:36)

NOW DO NOT TWIST THE SCRIPTURES EUGENE!! WHERE CAN YOU FIND AMONG THE VERSES MENTIONED DOES GOD PROHIBITED THE USE OF IMAGES OF SAINTS? MARY? AND CHRIST? IT IS CLEAR IN THE BIBLE THAT IDOLS ARE PROHIBITED!! NOT THAT OF CHRIST, MARY AND THE SAINTS.

Christ our Lord is the IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD (Colossians 1:15)

Mary is the HIGHLY FAVOURED ONE (Luke 1:28)

Saints were always WITH GOD ( Zacariah 14:5)

CLEARER THAN THE SUN, THAT IDOLS ARE FAR DIFFERENT FROM CHIST, MARY AND THE SAINTS.

SINCE DEUTERONOMY 31:18 DESCRIBE IDOLS AS TURNING THE BELIEVERS FROM GO. HOW COULD AN IMAGE OR PICURES OF CHRIST, MARY APOSTLES PETER AND PAUL ETC. TURN US FROM WORSHIPPING GOD? WHERE IN FACT WE ARE EVEN REMINDED OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD THROUGH THEM?

AND.. why is it you always equate the IMAGES OF IDOLS with THAT OF CHRIST? MARY AND THE SAINTS?

dont you know it is FORBIDDEN TO EQUATE THE THINGS OF GOD TO THAT OF PAGAN IDOLS?

"What agreement hath the Temple of God with Idols?" (2 Corinthians 6:16)

THE CATHOLIC USE OF IMAGES SIMPLY A MANIFESTATION OF THE GREAT COMMANDMENT OF CHRIST

"Love God with ALL YOUR YOUR MIND" ( Matthew 22:37)

From a LOGICAL POINT OF VIEW, when one see an IMAGE or a PICTURE , he is simply reminded of the person portrayed by it. since we catholics love God with all our MIND. therefore we make images in order to let it remind us ALWAYS OF GOD.

It is not wrong to think. try to use your brain Mr. Eugene (if you have any .. hehehe)

When an individual looks on a CRUSIFIXION , it has an inscription of JESUS OF NAZARETH KING OF THE JEWS. (INRI) does it remind of SOMEONE OTHER THAN CHRIST ? WHO WAS CRUCIFIED?

The Crusifixion is a REMINDER OF CHRIST'S LOVE FOR US. A REMINDER OF GOD'S SAVING WORK.. and it is only fitting to say that it fulfills what the BIBLE TEACHES..

"REMEMBER THE LORD'S WONDROUS WORKS" ( 1 Chronicle 16:12)

IF YOU DENY THAT IMAGES, PICTURES OR STATUES DO NOT REMIND OF SOMEONE PORTRAYED BY IT. then i suggest you to THROW ALL THE PICTURES OF YOUR GRAND PAPA ELI AND DANIEL RAZON..
