ELISEO SORIANO OF DATING DAAN OR CHURCH OF GOD INTERNATIONAL WANTED BY INTERPOL

The post in Interpol website proving that Bro. Eli Soriano is indeed WANTED FOR SEX CRIMES

I got it from this forum frequented by Filipino Catholic Apologists:

http://www.pinoysg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=599793#599793

And this is also in the official website of Interpol:

http://www.interpol.int/public/data/wanted/notices/data/2008/50/2008_13250.asp

VERY INTERESTING!!!

WHICH OF THE CHURCHES FOUNDED BY SORIANO IS THE TRUE CHURCH?

Pinoy Catholic Apologists in Singapore based forum posted this information. I found it very revealing. Here is the link:
Bro. Eli Soriano of Dating Daan, proclaimed on his own website that it is DISGUSTING to build other churches. And nobody has a right to build a church. Here's the link - http://www.mcgi.org/biblicaltopics/bib_salvation_2.htm
Below are the churches registered on Bro. Eli Soriano's name:
1. Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Saligan ng Katotohanan (English Translation: Church of God in Christ Jesus, The Pillar and Ground of the Truth) founded March 30, 1977 - revoked registration by SEC on 02 July 2003.
2. Ang mga Kaanib sa Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Saligan ng Katotohanan sa Bansang Pilipinas, Incorporated (English Translation: The Members of The Church of God in Christ Jesus, Pillar and Ground of the Truth, Philippines, Incorporated) founded on January 20, 1980.
3. Bayan ng Katotohanan Incorporated (English Translation: City of Truth Incorporated) founded on December 1993
4. Iglesia ni YHWH at ni YHWSA HMSYH, Inc. (English Translation: Church of YHWH and of YHWSA HMSYH, Inc.). founded on 1994
5. “Bayan ng Katotohanan” and later to “Iglesia ni YHWH at ni YHWSA HMSYH”. founded on 1997.
6. Members Church of God International founded on January 13, 2004
7. Mga Kaanib ng Ama at Panginoong Jesus sa Bansang Pilipinas Inc. (English Translation: Members of the Father and Lord Jesus, Philippines Inc.)
8. Members Church of the Living God, and Iglesia ng mga Bunso (English Translation: Church of the Youngest Children).
Well, well, well... by what right did he establish, found and registered all these self-invented churches? By what authority is it Mr. Soriano? Which is the true one?

THE SORSOGON CATHEDRAL AND THE HOLY MASS IN HONOR OF STS. PETER AND PAUL

The Facade of Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Sorsogon City

Twice a year the clergy of Sorsogon are gathering together with the Bishop to express their ecclesial communion. One of them is the Chrism Mass every Maundy Thursday and the other every feast of the Co-Patrons of the Cathedral, Sts. Peter and Paul, on June 29.

A young and robust St. Peter at the Retablo of the Main Altar
So yesterday, we went to the Cathedral in full force headed by Fr. Superior Lino Juta, CRS to represent our Congregation. Unfortunately the Bishop himself was not around for the Mass instead the Vicar General, Msgr. Melchor 'Choi' Esperida was the main celebrant.

St. Paul the Apostle on the other side of the Retablo
Msgr. Choi explained that the Bishop is needed in Europe because he is a high ranking official of the Catholic Biblical Federation and for that reason his presence among the Bible Scholars was imperative. That is why he was delegated to lead the Diocese for the Festivities of the Co-Patrons.

The Cathedral was splendid and shining brightly that day. The Catholic Faithful came in drove and showed there love of their Patrons.

The works for the renovation of the Catheral are not yet through but the Cathedral has improved a lot. More air and sunshine are naturally coming in and it appears bigger than before. May the people continuously support the projects until all the works shall be completed for the Glory of God.

Bastes, SVD, DD who is abroad for his responsibility as a high ranking official of an Internationl Association of Catholic Bible Scholars, the outgoing Vicar General, Msgr. Melchor Esperida, served as the Main Celebrant.
The Cathedral was filled with the faithful from inside until its adjacent spaces outside. This is only one of many Masses that day and in each Mass the Cathedral was filled to overflowing.

Evidence Points to Authenticity of St. Paul's Tomb

The Beheading of St. Paul by Alessandro Algardi

Pope Says Scientific Analysis Seems to Confirm Tradition
***
VATICAN CITY, JUNE 28, 2009 (Zenit.org).- The tomb of St. Paul may indeed contain the remains of the Apostle of the Gentiles, Benedict XVI affirmed in his homily at the closing of the Year of St. Paul.
The Pope presided at first vespers this evening for the solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul, which marked the conclusion of the Pauline Year. The celebration took place at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, where it has traditionally been believed St. Paul was buried.
"An authentic scientific analysis" conducted on the sarcophagus conserved in the basilica, the Holy Father said, "seems to confirm the unanimous and uncontested tradition that these are the mortal remains of the Apostle Paul."
"A tiny hole was dri lled into the sarcophagus -- which over many centuries had never been opened -- in order to insert a special probe, which revealed traces of costly purple colored linen fabric, laminated with pure gold and a blue fabric with linen filaments," Benedict XVI explained. "
Grains of red incense and protein and chalk substances were also discovered," he continued. "There were also tiny bone fragments, which were sent for carbon-14 testing by experts who were unaware of their origin. These were discovered to belong to a person who had lived between the first and second centuries."
St. Paul is said to have been beheaded at Aquas Salvias -- where the Church of Tre Fontane was then erected -- while he was buried at the place where the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls now stands, and where two basilicas -- one ordered by Emperor Constantine and the other the so-called basilica of the "Three Emperors" (Theodosius, Valen tinian II and Arcadius) -- were constructed during the fourth century.
Despite the fact that the original tomb of St. Paul had been the object of profound devotion on the part of pilgrims from the beginning, over the centuries it disappeared from view and eventually could no longer be identified.
During the reconstruction of the basilica, which had been destroyed by a fire in 1823, two marble plaques dating from the time of Pope Leo the Great (440-461), which contained the barely visible inscription "Paolo Apostolo Mart" ("Paul the Apostle Martyr"), were discovered beneath the "confessio" altar.
The first archaeological inspections, which took place in 2002-2003 in the area of the "confessio," permitted the identification of the remains of the Constantinian and Theodosian basilicas.
Between May 2 and Nov. 17, 2006 excavations were carried out that brought to light a marble sarcophagus 2.5 meters long and about 1.2 meters long, which rested on layer of clay floor dating from 390, the time during which the Constantinian basilica was expanded.
Beginning in 2007, visitors were allowed to enter below the basilica's altar to pray before the tomb of the Apostle.

Bro. Marwil Llasos Visits Sorsogon Cathedral

The Facade of Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral of Sorsogon Diocese with its towering belfry.

After the inspiring but grueling Apologetic Conference Franz and I brought Bro. Mars outside for him to have something to eat. But, Mars requested instead to see the Sorsogon Cathedral in order to give thanks to God and to honor its patrons Sts. Peter and Paul.

Atty. Mars before the pilgrim images of Sts. Peter and Paul. These are the statues that is touring every barangay of the Cathedral Parish.

It was very touching. Bro. Mars left Daraga City that day without taking lunch and when he arrived in Aemilianum he only took some crackers and waters before the Conference despite the fact that he was not feeling well and right after the talk he was not eager to eat instead was looking for the House of God.

Bro. Mars in front of the Cathedral

The Sorsogon Cathedral since early last year is under major renovations, including its Rectory, Offices and Media Center. However, the beauty of its architecture was already visible when we visited late that afternoon of June 25, 2009.

Bro. Franz and Bro. Mars in front of Sorsogon Cathedral

We failed to give Bro. Mars a full tour of the Cathedral because a Mass was at its peak then. We arrived almost at the consecration time. So we knelt during the Institution Narrative. Instead, we stayed outside in the statue of the Blessed Mother and at the further end of the interior of the Cathedral where the pilgrim statue of the two Patrons is located in preparation for the coming Procession on the coming Sunday which was the beginning of the Fiesta celebrations of the entire Diocese.

It means a lot for Bro. Mars because he worked so hard to proclaim the faith of Peter and Paul for the Apologetic Conference. It was a fitting conclusion to such a wonderful event and apostolate.

The Interior of the Cathedral which then has an afternoon Mass. It was thursday afternoon. The Cathedral is still under major renovation inside and outside.

May the Lord continuously bless Bro. Mars and Bro. Franz for their dedicated service of defending the faith and explaining it to the people. May the Lord grant us the grace to be together again for another Apologetic Programs and Activities.

SOLEMNITY OF STS. PETER AND PAUL, Apostles and Martyrs, The Two Pillars of the Roman Catholic Church

Sts. Peter and Paul, the Pillars of the Church

A sermon of St Augustine

The martyrs had seen what they proclaimed

This day has been consecrated for us by the martyrdom of the blessed apostles Peter and Paul. It is not some obscure martyrs we are talking about. Their sound has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world. These martyrs had seen what they proclaimed, they pursued justice by confessing the truth, by dying for the truth.

The blessed Peter, the first of the Apostles, the ardent lover of Christ, who was found worthy to hear, And I say to you, that you are Peter. He himself, you see, had just said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Christ said to him, And I say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church. Upon this rock I will build the faith you have just confessed. Upon your words, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God, I will build my Church; because you are Peter. Peter comes from petra, meaning a rock. Peter, “Rocky,” from “rock”; not “rock” from “Rocky.” Peter comes from the word for a rock in exactly the same way as the name Christian comes from Christ.

Before his passion the Lord Jesus, as you know, chose those disciples of his whom he called apostles. Among these it was only Peter who almost everywhere was given the privilege of representing the whole Church. It was in the person of the whole Church, which he alone represented, that he was privileged to hear, To you will I give the keys of the kingdom of heaven. After all, it is not just one man that received these keys, but the Church in its unity. So this is the reason for Peter’s acknowledged pre-eminence, that he stood for the Church’s universality and unity, when he was told, To you I am entrusting, what has in fact been entrusted to all. To show you that it is the Church which has received the keys of the kingdom of heaven, listen to what the Lord says in another place to all his apostles: Receive the Holy Spirit; and immediately afterwards, Whose sins you forgive, they will be forgiven them; whose sins you retain, they will be retained.

Quite rightly, too, did the Lord after his resurrection entrust his sheep to Peter to be fed. It is not, you see, that he alone among the disciples was fit to feed the Lord’s sheep; but when Christ speaks to one man, unity is being commended to us. And he first speaks to Peter, because Peter is the first among the apostles. Do not be sad, Apostle. Answer once, answer again, answer a third time. Let confession conquer three times with love, because self-assurance was conquered three times by fear. What you had bound three times must be loosed three times. Loose through love what you had bound through fear. And for all that, the Lord once, and again, and a third time, entrusted his sheep to Peter.

There is one day for the passion of two apostles. But these two also were as one; although they suffered on different days, they were as one. Peter went first, Paul followed. We are celebrating a feast day, consecrated for us by the blood of the apostles. Let us love their faith, their lives, their labours, their sufferings, their confession of faith, their preaching.

APOLOGETIC CONFERENCE - THE TRUE CHURCH AND PETER THE FIRST POPE with Atty. Marwil Llasos of Defensores Fidei Foundation

Bro. Franz before the promotional Tarpaulin for the Apologetic Conference, few days before the event.

After long period of waiting and preparations the Apologetic Seminar was finally held last Thursday June 25, 2009 in Aemilianum College. THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS ALTHOUGH THE FULL IMPACT OF IT IS STILL TO BE SEEN AND COULD BE KNOWN TO GOD ALONE. And now I know why it is really very strange because it appears to me and also mentioned to me personally by my staff and friends that Satan seemed to be determined to stop the event. The subtle persecutions that we have received before and during the Conference was simply beyond the ordinary.

Aemilianum students waiting for the start of the Conference which was delayed due to unexpected brown outs.

It started in this Blog. The opponents of the faith seems to be very very angry to the point that they are using personally insulting words against me and against Bro. Mars. Thus, for the first time ever I made a series of 'deletion' of anonymous comments. Then during the actual day itself, one hour before the Conference when I went out of the school perimeter to meet Atty. Mars on the road I suffered severe cramps on two legs. It was too painful so that I could barely move. The guard and Bro. Mars guided me and I sat on the floored tiled of the school pathway while Mr. Valenzuela and the guard were massaging my feet. It was another 3o minutes before I was able to stand again which I think could be attributed to the intercessions of the Blessed Mother whom I called and secretly consecrated myself and the conference. Yet each of my steps for the next 3 days since then were painful. Along the way Mars told me that he is also not feeling well and his flight was almost cancelled for bad weather.

The image of Our Lady of Fatima shrined on the stage for the occasion

When we entered the Conference Hall we started showing Bro. Mars the PowerPoint presentations that he asked us to do. We gave him the arranged hand-outs while he and Bro. Franz started preparing the Biblical passages to be read during the talks which were divided into 3 parts: The Catholic Church as Founded by Jesus, The Lord established a Leadership in the Church through Peter & his Successors and the True Faith was Established in Jerusalem then transferred to Rome, thus, the claim that it is to be found in the Philippines is false. Being the main organizer I was calling the shots throughout while Bro. Franz became the right hand man of Bro. Marwil then.

Atty. Marwil Llasos before the Apologetic Conference

About ten minutes before the Conference proper the lights suddently turned off. I was told later that the electric supply control area burned because of over heat. OVERHEAT!!! How can it be? The place is newly renovated and refurbished including its electric supply. It was used last May 2009 by the council of deans and department heads of Colleges and Universities from entire Bicol Region yet nothing of this sort materialized. Then, the airconditioning was on for more than 8 hours and the TV coverage was for whole day. Now, we haven't started yet and there is already fuse burning for overheat. Strange.
Bro. Franz being asked by Bro. Mars to serve as his 'Timothy'... assistant during the expostion.

The Conference was delayed for 15 minutes because the electricians working for the renovations of electric supplies for AITV5 in the second floor were summoned to check the situation and provide practical solutions. They did a wonderful job. The lightings and airconditioning functioned agained and we started the Conference hosted by Prof. Elmer Valenzuela. Ms. Margarita Pacay, my news anchor for CHURCH NEWS INTERNATIONAL led the prayers. The singing fo the national anthem followed with the Welcoming Address of my good friend Fr. Romeo Sabayton, CRS.

The students-participants few minutes before the talks

After Fr. Bobby I was called by the host to give the reason for the Conference and gave the following:

1. The Main Topic: THE TRUE CHURCH AND THE PAPACY is inspired by the coming Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul this June 29. These two great Apostles are the patron saints of the Diocese of Sorsogon and of the entire Province.

2. The participants of this Conference are mostly my students in Theology and these topics are frequently arising in our classes and sessions.

3. Many text messages from the people of Sorsogon were sent to the program The Splendor of the Church asking us repeatedly on these topics.

4. We chose the best available date and time for Atty. Marwil to be here in Sorsogon so that he can enlighten us with his vast knowledge of Sacred Scriptures on Catholic Apologetics and strengthen the faith of our students and the people of Sorsogon.

Fr. Bobby Sabayton, CRS preparing his Welcoming Remark for Atty. Mars and the participants

The Conference Hall is not that large. It could only accommodate about 150 sitting participants and about 200 if we shall count those who were standing. Since this is our first Conference I decided not to gather the entire student population in the very large Gymnasium but I wanted the people of Sorsogon to fully appreciate first the talent and person of our speaker so that for then the growing request for more will be answered later by a bigger gathering. In fact, this one is much bigger than the first coming of Mars where he simply remained and discussed inside the studio. Hopefully next time, we can gather the entire College Body together and we will invite also students from other Colleges here.

Ms. Margarita Pacay, AB MassCom student, leading the opening prayer

The presentations focused on doctrines. Mars despite not feeling well articulately captured the attention of his young audience by providing the Biblical verses supporting the Catholic Church from the Old Testament to the New Testament. The youth present were surprised how the passages formerly meaningless for them have become living tools for understanding the will of God for the Church founded by the Lord Jesus. Although the presentation of Atty. Mars is unique actually he didn't go away in doctrine. He simply unfolded the ancient truths that the true Church must be founded by Jesus Himself that it must come from Jerusalem or the Holy Land, then it must be One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. Then this same Church was transferred from Jerusalem to Rome.

Prof. Elmer Valenzuela, Head of ACI MassCom department, serving as Emcee

When Mars was about to start explaining the Papacy with Peter as the First Pope, another unexpected brown out came. We rest for a while while waiting for the restoration of electric supply. When it finally came back we decided to lessen the lightings of TV cameras and didn't put the airconditions. In effect, we experience severe heat especially Mars who was so handsome in his business suit. We opened instead the doors of the hall and its windows for ventillation. The program must go on.

Fr. Romeo 'Bobby' Sabayton, CRS giving the Welcoming Address in behalf of Fr. Superior, Lino Juta, CRS.

Being in such a situation didn't diminish our resolved to bring the Conference to its fitting climax. The three of us became spirited all the more. And we were supported by the students who remained in their seats though they are free to leave if they want. Much more by opening the windows and doors more people watched and listened through them.
Atty. Mars, the main speaker, flanked by The Splendor of the Church hosts Fr. Abe Arganiosa, CRS and Bro. Franz Luigi Lugena.

After the Papacy presentation Mars applied the doctrines that we presented to the claims of Felix Manalo and Eliseo Soriano, namely their claims of being messengers of God and for Manalo his being an angel. Mars also specifically refuted the claim of Felix Manalo that the Church founded by Jesus succumbed to the Great Apostasy because the Church founded by Jesus is indestructible and protected from the poison of heresy.

The students were extraordinarily attentive during the Conference. They stayed for 3 hours of Apologetic presentations.

The conference ended with a long Question and Answer, the giving of Plaque of Appriciation to Bro. Mars and the final prayer and blessing given by Fr. Abe, CRS.
GLORY TO THE FATHER AND TO THE SON AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. AMEN.
