THE VISIT OF SOMASCAN SUPERIOR GENERAL, THE MOST REV. FRANCO MOSCONE, CRS AT AEMILIANUM COLLEGE, Part 3 Interview In AITV5

Last Thursday, November 19, 2009 Fr. General Franco Moscone, CRS honored the AITV5 with his presence. From his own words that was his first ever interview in the English language. The interview was a Special Edition of THE SPLENDOR OF THE CHURCH TV program. It was hosted by Prof. Elmer Valenzuela and Fr. Abe, CRS accompanied Fr. General as a sign of support.

It is a great honor for AITV5 to be honored with the presence of our Superior General, to be granted an exclusive interview despite his hectic schedule and to bring his message as successor of St. Jerome to the people of Sorsogon. The Fr. General said prior to the TV appearance that this will be his first media interview in the English speaking country. In order to make him more comfortable I decided to join him as a sign of support by our entire staff.

The Fr. General expressed during his interview his great joy of having visited Sorsogon and the grace of seeing the beauty of the place and the hospitality of its people. He also expressed his gratitude for the local people for their support and appreciation of the Somascan presence here. He expounded the idea that the people of Sorsogon and the Somascan Fathers are cooperators in Educators, we are partners in teaching the young people to become better Christians and citizens of the land.
