The Mysterious Yet Beautiful Bulusan Volcano

This is the famous Mount Bulusan, the pride of Sorsogon Province. This volcano looks enchanting and mysterious with her green scenery, fertile soil, crystal clear springs, magnificent lake and alluring hot springs. Yet this is very active and therefore dangerous.

These shots were taken from Bacolod National High School when I gave an apologetic talks before the students and celebrated the Holy Mass before their graduation last March 2010.

  1. It may not have a perfect cone shape, like Mt. Mayon's... But its beauty is still captivating.

  2. It is as captivating. Especially since it is so near the people. Her adjacent hills and ravines are home to so many unlike Mayon who is a lone towering figure in the vast field of Albay and neighboring places.
