KATANUNGAN TUNGKOL SA KRUS AT SA BIBLIA

The image of the Crucified Jesus reminds us of our Redemption on the Cross when our Savior suffered and died for our sake.

At ung sign of the cross po eh kung ginagawa daw po natin ay curse daw po iyon. i tried explaining that we do it because as catholics we glory in Christ's cross. e pinipilit padin ang aral nila. kaya kami minsan nag aaway. another thing is the bible. di po ba father half truth ang nasa Portestant bible kasi binawasan? sinabi ko po iyon eh ang sagot nila ksai daw may mali doon kaya tinanggal ng mga "reformers". Ineexplain ko po yung side ko ayaw po makinig.

Ha, ha, ha... nakakatawa naman ang pinsan mong Baptist. Ipinakikita ang kakitiran ng isip.

Ang Catholic Cross ay maraming uri. Dalawang mahalaga sa mga iyan ay ang Cross depicting the Crucifixion and Death of the Lord. Siempre dapat nasa Cross ang Corpus kasi nga ang inaalala mo ay ang Pagkabayubay ni Cristo sa Krus. Bagamat si Cristo ay nabuhay na muli pinoproclama pa rin Siya ng mga Cristiano bilang Panginoong Napako sa Krus:

1 Cor 1:23 "But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness"

Hindi porke nag resurrect na siya ay dapat nang kalimutan ang kanyang pagkapako sa Krus. Kaya nga ang Biblia hindi puro Resurrection lang ang laman. Merong Birth of Jesus, Preaching of Jesus, Crucifixion of Jesus at Resurrection of Jesus, may Ascension pa at Second Coming.

Tuwing Resurrection Day meron din tayong Cross na walang Corpus to show na muling nabuhay ang Panginoon. Meron ding Cross na may puting tela tapos si Lord Jesus nakatayo sa harap nito at Buhay na: The Cross with the Resurrected Christ.

Hindi nila tayo dapat paalalahanan na buhay na ang Panginoon dahil tayo lang naman ang nagsabi sa kanila ng Pagkabuhay ng Panginoon. Yang mga Baptists dating mga Barbaro yan sa Europe at mga Indian pana, kakana-kana sa America. Ang kanilang mga religion sa Switzerland man o sa Germany o sa England ay galing din sa patotoo ng mga Catolicong unang nangaral sa kanila ng Evangelio. Sa katunayan kaya sila nagcecelebrate ng Christmas at Easter dahil sa atin. Pag Resurrection Day of the Lord [Easter] Feast nating mga Catolico nakiki celebrate sila.

Ang curse ay ang kaparusahang ipinataw kay Cristo. Yun ay curse sa mga Judiong nagpapatay kay Jesus. Yung mga Judiong nagpapatay kay Cristo nuon. Hindi yung mga Judio ngayon na walang kinalaman sa pagpatay kay Cristo.

Subalit ang Cross ay hindi curse sa mga Cristiano. Sa halip ito ay KAPANGYARIHAN NG DIOS para sa atin:

1 Cor 1:17-18 ‘For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel – not with words of human wisdom, lest THE CROSS of Christ be emptied of its power. For the message of THE CROSS is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.’ [NIV]

Kitam, sa mga napapahamak ay foolishness ang Cross but para sa atin ito ay Kapangyarihan ng Dios.

Kung wala si Cristo sa Krus papano nila masasabi na Krus ni Cristo yon? Baka yung Krus ng mga Baptists ay Krus ni Spartacus at ng mga ipinakong mga tulisan at magnanakaw. Ha, ha, ha...

Maging mapilit ka rin. Wag kang susuko. Kulitin mo rin siya. Ganyan talaga ang mga heretico.

Ok lang magdebate pero wag paabutin sa away. Kung naninira sila dapat sagutin. Katungkulan nating sagutin sila. Baka akala nila sila lang ang may alam sa Biblia. Sa atin nagmula ang Biblia hindi sa kanila.

Sabihan mi siya na masama ang kanyang ginagawa dahil siya ay kaaway ng Krus ni Cristo:

Phil 3:18-19 ‘for many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the ENEMIES of THE CROSS of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.’

Talagang Enemies sila ng Krus ni Cristo. They are destroying them.

Yes, pitong aklat ang tinanggal nila. Gusto pa nga ni Martin Luther, ang hereticong nag-imbento ng kanilang Dogma na: FAITH ALONE at BIBLE ALONE na tanggalin din ang EPISTLE OF JAMES. Kaso ibinalik nya tapos magalit ang maraming tao.

Dyan mo makikita ang kanilang kasamaang pinaggagawa sa Biblia.

Anong Authority ang taglay ng mga Abusers na yan para bawasan ang Biblia. Sila ba ang may ari ng Biblia? Libong taon bago sila isilang may Biblia na.

Kunwari ay mahal nila ang Biblia pero ang tutuo sila ang mga Naglapastangan sa Biblia.

Welcome. You must love your relatives but do not allow them to spread the poison of heresies in your family. Refute them. Kung may right silang manira may right ka ring sumagot at magtanong sa kanila. Pagpinupulaan ang ating Catholic Faith defend it with courage and reason. Then also attack their faith ask them where they can find in the Bible what they are teaching. Kasi marami silang aral at gawain, WALA SA BIBLIA.

    Bro. Cagayano alam mo kung bakit allergic ang mga protestante sa cross? at kung bakit para sa kanila isa itong curse? Ganito kasi yan na talo ni Kristo ang prinsipe ng kadiliman gamit ang sarili niyang mantika. Ang cricifiction ay isang marahas na pamamaraan upang patayin ang isang tao, isa itong instrumento ng demonyo upang ipakita ang kanyang karahasan. Subalit ginamit ito ni Kristo upang talunin siya. Sa madaling sabi ang sandata na gamit niya upang patayin ang tao ay siya namang gamit ni Kristo upang talunin siya. Kaya ang demonyo ay galit na galit sa cross dahil sa tuwing magsign of the cross ang Katoliko pa ulit-ulit pinapakita sa ka niya na siya ay talunan. Yung mga kampon niya dito sa lupa natural galit na galit din sa cross dahil sa pamamagitan nito na talo ang kanilang prinsipe. Kaya kinamumunghian ng mga Protestante ang cross.

  2. Fr. abe, super naiinspire po tlga ako sa mga blogs na nababsa ko po dito kaya po gus2 ko po magpasalamat kasi ngaun po sobrang dami ko nang natututunan galing po sa inyo. You always making me amazed with your answers to those controversial questions.
    Nalulungkot lang po ako fr. kasi po marami, as in marami po tlga akong kilala na dating catholic pero dahil po sa ndi naturuan ng husto about the catholic eh lumilipat ng ibang religion (and they keep on growing in numbers) lalo na po dito sa lugar namin sa tondo, at ang mga kaibigan ko. Maraming beses na po akong nagpaliwanag sa kanila about po sa mga questions nila about catholic but di nmn po ako mxadong bihasa dito kaya di ko po makaya iexplain sa knila lahat...
    Sana po fr, magkagawa po kayo ng paraan para mas marami pang catholic ang tunay na malinawan about their doubts. Marami rin po kasing mga catholic na naniniwala sa mga wrong "myth" or concept about catholic kasi di po natuturuan ng maayos. Sana po magkaroon kayo ng isang program sa national telvision about sa clarification ng mga "doubts" about the catholic church. I know po na nagkaroon na po kayo nito dati (i'm not sure if its still in air or not or to what channel it was aired)pero sana po this time, ung mas madaling makikita or mapapakinggan ng public. Worried lng po kasi ako... but i'm trying my best to defend our faith to my friends who keep on trying to destroy the catholic faith! tnx po ang Gobless!!!

  3. Ok lang naman ang krus na walang corpuz kung ito'y nagpapaalala kay kristo na nakapako sa krus. Kaso lang, tatlo po kasi ang nakapako sa krus di po ba father? Si Dimas at Istas yung dalawa pa, ayon sa kwento. Kung walang corpuz, paano kaya masabi ng mga baptist na hindi kay Dimas o Istas ang krus nila? hehehe! nagtatanong lang naman po father!

    Ang tinutumbok ko lang e ang krus na walang corpuz ay parang pangungusap na kulang ang diwa. Hindi nila ma-express nang lubusan ang halaga ng krus kapag tinanggal nila ang katawan ni kristo dito! yan lang po father.

    Tutuo yan. Kaya nga sabi ko sa taas e kapag walang Corpus ni Christ e pwedeng yon ay Krus ng mga tulisan. He, he, he... Bukod sa dalawang magnanakaw isa pang sikat na ipinako sa Krus ay si Spartacus at ang mga kasama niyang mga rebel slaves.

    Thank you very much for your kind words regarding our apostolate.

    Nauunawaan ko ang pain mo sa pag-alis ng ilan nating mga kababayan. Subalit wag kang mag-alala. HIndi naman lahat ay puro negative:

    1. Dumadami na ang mga Catholic Apologists at talagang matitindi ang kanilang pag defensa sa FAith. Urong na ngayon sa takot ang mga Born Again at mga Anti-Catholics.

    2. Marami rin ang nagbabalik o na ko convert sa atin mula sa ibang religion. Kaya lang kulang tayo sa promotion. That is why we must publicized the conversion stories.

    3. We are conquering U.S. and Britain. We are winning more than them. Almost all of Catholic Apologists in the U.S. are former Protestants.

    Regarding your request. Mahirap sa kin ang lumabas sa National TV dahil ako ay missionary sa Province. So I limit my apostolate in the local area and through the web just like this Blog.

    I cannot do everything. That is why we must help each other. Learn Catholic Apologetics. Join us, let us help each other and let us invite others to do the same. Together we can do something.

  7. One time I went inside the church of an old protestant university in the South of USA. It was scary. It's gloomy. No candlelights,no images, not even a cross.

  8. They hate the CROSS OF JESUS. They pretend to like it but in reality they hate it. THEY ARE ENEMIES OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST.

    For a time they can pretend to have a Cross but after some time they cannot resist the Devil of Heresy in their heart. So, instinctively they are removing the Crosses and they will be enflamed to attack Catholics who LOVE THE CROSS OF CHRIST.

    Hatred and Rejection of the Cross is rooted in the Heresies they professed.

  12. The first source of the image of the Lord Jesus is the personal description of the people who saw Him.

    The Lord Jesus became Man and He was born in time. Thus, He has a physical body and was seen by many people especially the Apostles. Thus, His face was shared by description from one generation to another. Just like the image of Lapu-lapu. It passed on in our culture and history from one generation to the other. So that even though there was no video and cameras during those times we can easily identify Lapu lapu in our textbooks, in the monuments and in the paintings.

    Second, the miraculous cloths bearing His image such as the Shroud of Turin and Veronica's Veil. Ancient history of the Church also speaks of the image of Christ brought by St. Jude Thaddeus to the King of Edessa. Thus, the images of St. Jude shows him carrying an image of the Lord.

    Third, the ancient iconography and paintings of the early Christians. Foremost among these was St. Luke who was a doctor and also a painter. The ancient history of the Church speaks of St. Luke the Evangelist as the first to paint the face of the Lord and that of His Virgin Mother.

    Fourth, the Lord Jesus appeared to other Catholic Saints in various points of history. And their testimony is in harmony with the ancient iconography.
