MAS MALAKAS BA ANG FAITH NG CENTURION KAY MAMA MARY?

YES, KASALANAN ITO. KASI HINAHAYAAN NATING MADUNGISAN NG KASALANAN ANG KABANALAN NG ATING PANGINOONG JESU-CRISTO. DAPAT NATING TULARAN ANG GOOD CENTURION NA NAGSABI:

"Lord I am not worthy to accept You in my house but just give order and my servant will be healed." [cf.Matthew 8:8]

Regarding lamang po dyan sa verse na binigay ninyo.

May dinaluhan po kasi akong isang church na sinama po ako ng kaibigan ko. Specifically Born Again church yun. Napilitan lamang po talaga akong pumunta kasi naka " Oo " na ako noong una. Ngunit Catholic po ako. Tapos po yung about dyan sa verse na iyan eh habang nagsesermon or lecture yung pastor nila eh nagulat po ako sa sinabi nya.

Pastor's interpretation in Matthew 8:10

"When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, "I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. "

Sabi nya , nakita daw po ni Jesus sa centurion lamang yung ganoon kalakas na pananampalataya, ibig sabihin mas higit pa raw po kay Mama Mary, and the other Apostles. Tama po ba iyon Father?

Natatawa lamang po ako noong sinabi nya na baliwala yung faith kung walang obedience. Diba po si Mama Mary ang most obedient? Kasi at the age of 3 she offer herself to our Lord? Eh di naisip ko po kung most obedience si Mama Mary eh di faithful pa rin po siya. Correct me if I am wrong Father. Thank you and God Bless!

Tama ka at nakatatawa talaga ang Pastor na iyan.

Walang sinabi ang Panginoong Jesus na ang Centurion ay may mas malakas na pananampalataya sa Dios kaysa kay Abel, Noe, Abraham, Joseph the Dreamer, Moises, Elijah, John the Baptist, Joseph the husband of Mary and Mary the Mother of the Lord. Kahit kay John the Beloved ay hindi hihigit ang faith ng Centurion.

Ang tinutukoy ng Panginoon ay ang mga Judio na pawang mahihina ang pananampalataya at kulang ang pananampalataya sa kanya. Jesus was contrasting the faith of the Centurion who believed in His power to heal and the Pharisees, Sadducees and the scribes who refused to believe in Him.

Gaano tayo nakakasiguro na mas malakas ang faith ni Mary? Kasi si Maria ang "TOTOONG PINAKAMAMAHAL NG DIOS":

Lucas 1:28 "At pumasok siya sa kinaroroonan niya, at sinabi, Magalak ka, ikaw na totoong pinakamamahal, ang Panginoon ay sumasa iyo."

Si Maria ay PINAKAMAMAHAL NG DIOS. Kaya nga ang faith ni Mary ay well attested ng Biblia samantalang ang Centurion ay pahapyaw lamang. Ang galit lang naman kay Maria ay si SATANAS na gusto siyang lamunin [Revelation 12] at ang mga BORN AGAIN AT ANTI-CATHOLICS na pawang mga kampon ng Demonio. Para sa kanila ay pangkaraniwan lang si Maria. Nakakatawa kasi ang "TOTOONG PINAKAMAMAHAL NG DIOS" ay pangkaraniwan lang pala para sa kanila. Maka-Demonio talaga ang pag-iisip nila.

Anyway, ang Centurion na iyon ay Romano. Isa siya sa mga unang Cristiano mula sa Roma na nagpalaganap ng pananampalataya kay Cristo. Isa pa rin siya sa mga ninuno ng ating Roman Church.

    Na-tackle po sa klase namin ang tungkol sa philosophy ni Bertrand Russel. Sabi po ng taong ito na people accept religion not because of argumentation but because of emotions. Ang basis daw po ng religion is not really reason but emotion, at ang emotion daw po na ito ay fear. Takot lang daw ang tao kaya ginawa nila ang konsepto ng Dios upang doon nila ibuntong ang kanilang takot. At para ipalaganap ang relihiyon, ginamit din ang takot kaya nga meron tayong concept of hell para matakot ang tao at maniwala.
    Father, I really want to refute it in my own way kaya lang hindi naman ako expert sa philosophy. Sana mag-comment po kayo tungkol dito. It's crucial for students like us who are poisoned by these atheistic philosophies that we study in our classrooms.

  2. Banal ang Mahal na Birhen. Dapat syang galangin. Ang Born-Again Christians ay sa diyablo dahil hindi nila ginagalang ang Mahal na Birhen. Buking ang mga sa diablo!

    Bertrand Russel is a famous atheist and enemy of the Catholic Church.

    Did he examined and talked to all Christians who accepted God in their lives for him to say that. Obviously, that claim is merely a propanda and does not have any scientific basis.

    All civilizations in the world from ancient time believed in God. In fact, those who do not believe in God are obviously more unreasonable because they failed to provide a reasonable explanation for the existence of the world and of all that exist.

    Ha, ha, ha... The atheists and anti-Catholics are the one using fear on their followers. Look at Hitler and the Nazi. Hitler abandoned his Catholic faith to become athiest and look at what he has done to the world. He murdered millions of people and brought terrible destruction to the world. Look at the atheists-Communists. They enslaved Russia, China, North Korea and Vietnam and many other countries. They killed priests and nuns, destroyed Churches, they kill those who oppose them or sent them to concentration camps. In communists countries their people are not allowed to go out and the foreigners are not allowed to come in. SO, THE PEOPLE REVOLTED, SOVIET UNION CRUMBLED... CHINA BECAME CAPITALIST.

    Look at North Korea, it is still communist and atheistic. He, he, he... Malaya ba sila? NO, NO, NO... You will be imprisoned if you attack their politicians. When China was still Communist the students rallied in Tianamen Square. Do you know what they did? They attacked the students with Tanks. In our Catholic country, the Philippines, we have a peaceful People Power Revolution.

    The Catholic Church is known for its promotion of Philosophy, Education, Arts and Culture, Music, Architecture, Sciences, Literature.

    OUR MOTIVATION IS NOT FEAR BUT "LOVE". The Atheists are known only for their REBELLIONS AND HATE.

    That is insulting to human race.

    We humans are fond of inventing concepts like Superman, Batman, Spiderman, etc. but we are not stupid as claimed by Bertrand Russel to the point that we worship what we created. We are very much aware that what we created is not God and therefore they must be treated as 'Fiction'.

    We are aware that we believe in God because He is not created by our mind but on the contrary He was the One who Created us. We simply recognize the existence of a Power and Reason much greater than us and provides meaning for our existence.

    That is stupid and illogical. Because we are teaching that our God is Good. He is a God of Love. He is a Saving God... not a Slaving God like Hitler, Mao Tze Tung, Stalin and others.

    God wants us to live forever and be with Him in Eternal Life in Heaven. He is not threatening us with Hell.

    Instead, Hell is a product of Man's evil acts. It was Hitler, Mao and Stalin who gave hell into this world by implementing their atheistic beleifs. There is Hell because there are people who commits evil and the justice of God reuires punishmens for the evil done. Why is it that governments have PRISONS? Not because Government as an institution is evil but because there are people who commit crimes and evil. If people are good then the prisons will be useless.

    So, the existence of Hell must be blamed neither on God nor the beleivers of God but on those who do evil.
