At the divine command and with the help of the Holy Spirit, it listens to this devotedly, guards it with dedication and expounds it faithfully. All that it proposes for belief as being divinely revealed is drawn from this single deposit of faith."

ACTUALLY, IF YOU ARE ONLY NOT SO IGNORANT OF THE REAL CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH YOU WILL FIND OUT THAT OUR TEACHING IS THAT THE REVELATION HAS BEEN HANDED ON BY CHRIST TO THE APOSTLES. HE, HE, HE... CHECK IT:

CCC#75 "Christ the Lord, in whom the entire Revelation of the most high God is summed up, commanded the apostles to preach the Gospel, which had been promised beforehand by the prophets, and which he fulfilled in his own person and promulgated with his own lips. In preaching the Gospel, they were to communicate the gifts of God to all men. This Gospel was to be the source of all saving truth and moral discipline."32

AND THE FOOTNOTE SUPPORTED IT WITH THESE PASSAGES:

THE POWER AND AUTHORITY TO TEACH PEOPLE WERE GIVEN BY JESUS TO THE APOSTLES. THEN THE APOSTLES ENTRUSTED THE DEPOSIT OF THE FAITH TO THE NEXT BISHOPS AND LEADERS OF THE CHURCH:

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, guard THE DEPOSIT entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called "knowledge," [English Standard Version]

2 Timothy 1:14 (New International Version) Guard THE GOOD DEPOSIT that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

THAT IS THE BIBLICAL FOUNDATION OF OUR DOCTRINE OF 'DEPOSITUM FIDEI', i.e., The Deposit of the Faith. Depositum is the word used in Latin Bible for 1 Timothy 6:20 and 2 Timothy 1:14:

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothee DEPOSITUM CUSTODI devitans profanas vocum novitates et oppositiones falsi nominis scientiae

2 Timothy 1:14 BONUM DEPOSITUM CUSTODI per Spiritum Sanctum qui habitat in nobis

"DEPOSITUM CUSTODI"... Guard the Deposit, Keep the Deposit... What is that Deposit? THE FAITH OF THE APOSTLES HANDED ON TO TIMOTHY BY PAUL AND BY THE OTHER APOSTLES TO OTHER BISHOPS OF THE CHURCH. Thus, as a Bishop St. Timothy and St. Titus, St. Mark and St. Luke, St. Barnabas and St. Silas, etc. were Custodians and Keepers of the Apostolic Faith.

HA, HA, HA... THIS IS FAVORABLE TO US. BECAUSE THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IS THE BEST RELIGION KNOWN TO BE TEACHING THAT THERE ARE SAINTS. THESE SAINTS ARE THE MEMBERS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH WHO LIVED IN HOLINESS OF LIFE.

ACTUALLY, ST. JUDE REFERS TO THE CHURCH AS THE SAINTS BEING REFERRED TO IN THAT VERSE. THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TEACHES THAT JESUS ENTRUSTED THE REVELATION TO THE APOSTLES AND THE APOSTLES ETRUSTED IT TO THE CHURCH COMPOSED OF THE SAINTS:

CCC#84 The apostles entrusted the "Sacred deposit" of the faith (the depositum fidei),45 contained in Sacred Scripture and Tradition, TO THE WHOLE CHURCH. "By adhering to [this heritage] the entire holy people, united to its pastors, remains always faithful to the teaching of the apostles, to the brotherhood, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. So, in maintaining, practicing and professing the faith that has been handed on, there should be a remarkable harmony between the bishops and the faithful."46

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called...
