King Josiah followed what is written in the book of the Lord, and broke, burn, all the highplace altars and images.
2 Kings 23: 17Then he said, What title is that that I see? And the men of the city told him, It is the sepulchre of the man of God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou hast done against the altar of Bethel.
18And he said, Let him alone; let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria.
King Josiah allowed that sepulcher to be untouched as well as the bones, but it doesnt mean that Lord Jesus allowed us to make monument/images/idols of good men of God and kneel before them.
The king said let it be alone, he does not said, "ok, let put decoration on it and kneel before his monument." Which we are doing for more than 400 years..we're kneeling on the idols...put some flowers and fragrance. It was also written in catholic books that relics, personal things of saints be worshipped.
Idols are abominable with God's sight,
Leviticus 26:1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
If it is abominable with God, it is as well with Lord Jesus Christ.

The Captain of the guard fell on his knees before the prophet Elijah. Elijah of course is NOT GOD if you don't know. He is a human person.
2 Kings 4:37 "Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground; and she took up her son, and went out."
The Shunnamite woman fell down and bowed to prophet Elisha. Elisha is NOT GOD but another prophet of God, a human being.
Is this limited to human persons? No, it can also be done to things considered as Sacred and Holy to God:
Joshua 7:6 "And Joshua rent his clothes, and FELL TO THE EARTH upon his face before THE ARK OF THE LORD until the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads."
Joshua fell on the ground with deep bow his head touching the ground before the ARK OF THE COVENANT. We all know that the Ark of the Covenant is made of Acacia wood and covered with God. And it is also decorated with two large statutes of Cherubims. Then, it is not evil to kneel or bow down to a decorated images.
1 Kings 8:54 And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before THE ALTAR of the LORD, from KNEELING ON HIS KNEES with his hands spread up to heaven.
Here Solomon knelt before the Altar.

3. PASUGO Jan. 2004, p. 33ff: (Regarding the Logos in John 1): What was with God in the beginning was His concept or plan or idea (logos) about the Christ who would be coming to the world. The term logos does not refer to someone who was co-existing with God in the beginning.
Christ existed only when he was born. He had no prior existence.
The word "God" in the third clause of John 1:1 is not a noun but an adjective... What does it mean that the logos was divine? It means that the word of God is with power... The concept of incarnation grossly violates the biblical teaching concerning the immutability of God.
4. PASUGO, Nov. 2003 p. 16 Dapat bang ipagmisa ang mga patay?: Ayon sa Biblia (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6), ang patay ay wala nang anumang bahagi pa sa anumang ginagawa sa ilalim ng araw. Kaya ang mga patay ay walang anumang pakinabang na nakukuha mula sa mga panalanging ginagawa para sa kanila... Ang totoo ay ni wala tayong mababasang purgatoryo sa Biblia... "Who is the True God according to 1 John 5:20?": "The Greek of 5:20 has only "the true (one)" and reads literally: "we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we know the true (one) and we are in the true (one), in his Son Jesus Christ. This (one) is the true God and eternal life. It is clear from this that the true (one) is God throughout. Christ is his Son. In the final sentence "this" (one) most natuarally refers still to God, not to Christ, as some have suggested." (The Johannine Epistles, William Loader). The true God in 1 John 5:20 could not be the Son or Christ, who was sent by the Father.

PASUGO, OCt. 2000, The Folly of the Belief in Papal Infallibility, pg. 28ff.: History is so full of instances in which the Pope is seen to have erred: Pope Stephen put to trial for heresy the rotting cadaver of Pope Formosus, Pope Paul V declared the Copernican theory to be false, heretical and contrary to the word of God, Pope Urban VIII condemned Galileo... Is it true that Mary was conceived without sin as pronounced ex cathedra by Pope Pius IX? The gospel states that all men sinned except Christ (Rom. 3:23, 1 Pet 2:21-22) Thus Pope Pius IX lied, erred, ex cathedra! Is it true that Mary was assumed, body and soul, into heaven as pronounced ex cathedra by Pope Pius XII? Is it true therefore that Mary is in heaven? The Bible records only three men to be in heaven, namely Enoch (Gn 5:24; Heb 11:5), Elijah (2 Kg 2:11), and Christ (Mk 16:19). There is no mention of any woman being in heaven. Mary...suffered the lot of all men (Gn 3:17-19). Thus Pope Pius XII lied, erred, ex cathedra! Is it true that the Popes do not err in the making of saints! Such a claim is false for the same reasons that it is false to claim that Mary is already in heaven. Besides, there were about 200 saints - among them St. Christopher, St. Valentine, St. Nicholas, St. George, and St. Patrick - who were stricken from the list of saints (Time Magazine, May 16, 1969). This means that the Popes who pronounced them saints erred. They lied ex cathedra 200 times!
7. PASUGO, Feb. 2004 "Kung Paano nila nilikha ang aral na si Cristo ay Dios" pg 21ff: Sa mga tinawag na apostolic fathers, mga manunulat sa Iglesia pagkatapos ng mga apostol, tanging si Ignacio lamang ang nagturo na si Cristo ay diyos subalit ang aral na ito ay tinutulan hanggang sa ika-4 na siglo... Sinasasabi rin ng manunulat na paring Jesuita na sa unti-unting pagbalangkas ng Simbahang Katoliko ng aral na si Cristo ay Dios, sila ay naimpluwensyahan ng ibang mga relihyon.
8. PASUGO Dec. 2003 "Ang Orihinal na Paniniwala kay Cristo ng mga Unang Cristiano": Isa namang paring Katoliko na si Ronald J. Wilkins ang nagpapatotoo rin na ang paniniwala ng mga unang Cristianoay si cristo ay tao.
9. same issue, "Ang Pinagmulan ng Pasko" : Ang Pasko raw po ay isang pistang pagano na isina-Cristiano. "Ang pagkakapili ng Disyembre 25..ay buhat lamang sa impluwensya ng mga Romanong pagano." Ang Christmas tree naman ay pangkaraniwan sa paganong Roma at Ehipto. Bakit bawal: Titus 1:14, 2 Tim 3:15-17, 2 Thes 2:11-12.

Let us take a closer look at the Tagalog translation of that verse and its continuation:

[Now, this is obviously a Messianic prophecy. The Messiah is likened to a branch of a Tree. And not only that, the Stem of Jesse have been presumed dead for centuries yet a new shoot will rise out of it and it will become a Tree itself and will give fruits to others.]
THIS IS THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTMAS TREE. IT IS VERY OBVIOUS… LITERALLY OBVIOUS… AND THE CONTEXT IS TRULY RELATED TO THE BIRTH OF THE MESSIAH IN THE KINGDOM OF DAVID. MUCH MORE THE IMAGE OF THE ‘TREE OF LIFE’ IS NOT ONLY LIMITED TO THE BIRTH OF THE MESSIAH. IT IS ALSO A BIBLICAL IMAGE OF THE TRIUMPH OF THE MESSIAH OVER EVIL:

1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was THE TREE OF LIFE, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Also, the Bible likens a faithful believer who lives in righteousness to a TREE planted near the running waters, bearing fruits and having constant fresh leaves. [It looks like a Christmas Tree to me]:

3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
[So, the Christmas Tree is also a reminder for us Christians that if we are faithful to the Lord – The Branch of David, we too shall bear fruits for others...] This is a very beautiful Biblical imagery [cf. Psalm 92:12-13].

12 let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy;
13 they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth.
[Another Biblical Prophecy concerning the coming of the Messiah is that the Trees of the Forests will sing for joy. Of course, this refers to the fact that the entire creation will rejoice because God is Born unto us… the source of creation is coming to be with the things He created. The Catholics expressed this beautiful Biblical Imagery by presenting a Tree so full of fruits, constantly fresh leaves, covered with light, with the Star of Bethlehem on top and not only that, we put singing Christmas Lights around the Christmas Tree to signify the Joy of Creation with the Birth of the Messiah.]
