Fr. Thank you po in advance.

Dear Bro. Swiss Guard, Jesus is the Prince of Peace. That is the title given to the Messiah and indeed, he lived and taught peace. He refused to be a military leader and didn't present himself as a revolutionary rebel like Judas Maccabeus. He died on the Cross like a Lamb led to a slaughter. The meaning of 'I came not to give peace but war' is Spiritual and Moral. It refers to the struggle between Good and Evil. It tells us t reject what is evil and choose what is good. It tells us to prioritize God despite the temptations of this world. That in the struggle between Good and Evil we must not be afraid to oppose our own passions and lust, our own parents or siblings if they are not obedient to the Gospel values and not to be afraid to oppose even the governments of these world for the sake of Jesus. We must have to courage to bear witness to Jesus even if we loose everything even our own life - Martyrdom. Thus, if our parents want to abandon the faith and join some other church we must have the courage to say No and stay with the Church. If the government approves Abortions, Same-Sex Union, Contraceptions and Euthanasia then we must have the moral fortitude to say NO. Our Yes to God is a NO to Satan and his influences and his tempations and his seducations.
