Maitanong ko lang po. Against po ba kayo sa mga Catholic Charismatic groups? Kasi meron naman pong mga Pari at kahit Obispo ay Spiritual Director ng isang Catholic Charismatic group at member sila. Even some Priests are participating the Life in the Spirit Seminar of these charismatic groups. They also speak in Tongues and worship the Lord by raising their hands. Thank You and God Bless!

I already explained above that I AM NOT AGAINST THE CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC MOVEMENT AND MUCH MORE SA CATHOLIC CHARISMATICS. No, no, no. I LOVE AND RESPECT THEM. I have mentioned that I recognize the holiness and great service to the Church of these movement and their members. THEY ARE DOING A LOT OF GOOD THINGS IN THE CHURCH.

I am simply explaining that there are some actions that they are doing that are IMITATED FROM THE PROTESTANTS. I am saying that we must not imitate the Protestants like in their disco type, rock and roll type worships and their gibberish speaking in tongues.

The real Speaking in Tongue is not gibberish. But singing hymns and beautiful songs to the Lord in meaningful words like the Psalms of David, the Magnificat of Mary, the Canticle of Zechariah, the Canticle of Simeon, the Song of Moses and Miriam, the Canticle of the Three Young Men, like the Songs of the Angels and Saints in Heaven recorded in Book of Revelation.

I have heard Catholic Charismatics doing it properly. They are singing: "ALLELUIA, PRAISE THE LORD....PURIHIN NATIN ANG PANGINOON. ALLELUIA...." Clear, understandable, joyful, Spirit-fill. HINDI YUNG PARANG NAGMUMUMOG NG MADUMING LAWAY SA UMAGA.

    Paano po kaya yun mga Catholics na member ng Charismatic Group at ginagawa nila ung "speaking in tongues in gibberish sounds?" dapat po bang gawin un? Kasi kahit po ung pari na nasamahan ko po dati sa isang Charismatic Group nag Speak in tongus din po sya eh. Thank You Po ulit. :)

  2. If the Bishop allowed such practice in his Diocese then it is allowed. But follow the guidelines of the Bishop.

    Who am I to oppose the Bishop? He, he, he... The authority in that Diocese or parish will be the one responsible for that. I am only doing my duty in catechizing the people.

  5. YES. UNLESS THAT BISHOP CAN BE PERSUADED TO CHANGE HIS POSITION OR YOU ELEVATE YOUR COMPLAIN TO THE HOLY SEE.

    BUT THESE BISHOPS ALLOW SPEAKING IN TONGUES BECAUSE THE CHARISMATICS ARE VERY FOND OF IT. NOT BECAUSE IT IS AN OFFICIAL TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH. THE SPEAKING IN TONGUES IN GIBBERISH OR SENSELESS MANNER IS DANGEROUS SPIRITUALLY.

    SOME SAYS THAT IT IS TALKING TO GOD THAT ONLY GOD UNDERSTANDS. EXCUSE ME, THAT IS VERY CHEAP ARGUMENT. BECAUSE FOR TALKING TO GOD JESUS GAVE US THE OUR FATHER. READ THE DIALOGUES OF MOSES AND ABRAHAM TO GOD, THEY WERE NOT SPEAKING GIBBERISH TO GOD.

  8. Wala nga. Talagang ganon kasi ang Vatican II documents are mostly Constitutions and Pastoral Guiidelines and Mission Statemetns... it is not the nature of a Council to ennumerate all the specific details and concerns.
