ReplyDeleteI've discussed with my classmate when I was in 2nd year college who is a member of Jehovah's Witnesses about giving honor to the Flag of the our Country.
ReplyDeleteShe told me that they (JW) don't give honor to the flag because it is against the teaching of the Bible. And it is form of Idolatry according to them.
I countered her statement with a verse from the Bible from the Gospel of Luke, "Give to Caesar what is for Caesar and give to God what is for God." I put an explanation behind that Christ didn't teach us not to honor our country but we have to honor it, God placed us here why not love the place that God gave you.
She told me that she can't further explain it and will just consult her pastor regarding the verse. Until now I never received a word regarding the verse that I gave to her.

I encountered a person named Mike Dela Cruz a Jehovah's Witness. That Implements that the Catholic Church ay kaspi ng Nazi regime. And then he can't understand that Most of the religions have undergone religious wars including the Church like the crusades and reformation. And he said the religions that goes to war ay huwad na relihiyon.
I hope we can reinforce to this...
