There’s absolutely no way to verify the anecdote of Pezzotta. Assuming it really happened, it simply means that there are misguided Catholics who do not know their faith very well. However, Pezzotta should not pass off the erroneous, if not ridiculous, views of the uninformed or mis-informed Catholics to be the official teaching of the Church.

- Why have you said that "there are misguided Catholics". Isn't that mean, people are not taught to read the "Word of God"(Holy Bible)?

Why it has an Exhibit? Does God teaches people to create IMAGES or any GRAVEN image? That just made people learn a NON Biblical doctrine. Why was the exhibit held anyways? to promote those graven images or statutes? It was said from Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:" How then the practice of creating graven images still exerted?

I believed Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior that He Washed my Sins and I'm now one of His Children. (John 1:12).

I know we have reasons and beliefs and wherein we stand... I would love to hear from you.

Please no rude comments...let's just talk based on the Truth(The Word of God)John 3:32.

Pezzota is a great pastor. He found the truth in Christ, that only Him must be followed and not those priests, papas, cerdinals, etc. Pezzota only proved that the doctrines of Roman Catholic are not bible-based. He found everything when he found Christ. Better read the bible first before you judge Anthony Pezzota. Godbless!

PEZZOTA IS A COWARDLY BORN AGAIN PASTOR. HE WAS THOROUGHLY DEFEATED BY JAMES AKIN OF CATHOLIC ANSWERS IN THEIR 'PRIESTHOOD' DEBATE AND SINCE THEN HE REFUSED TO DEBATE THE CATHOLIC APOLOGISTS. HE FAILED MISERABLY TO REFUTE THE BIBLICAL FOUNDATION OF CATHOLIC FAITH.

The anonyomous guy Father obviously does not know what he is saying. I debunked Pezzotta's arguments and I dare his minions to refute me. It seems that this anonymous guy is closed-minded. What truth are you saying? Pezzotta is a certifiable liar and a twister of God's words. An ignoramous and a charlatan. That's what he is. The statement of that anonymous guy is a sweeping generalization that doesn't hold water. Give specifics, cite instances, provide details and let's debate. Be prepared to defend each and every allegation of Pezzotta. And I will be delighted to demolish each and every one of them.

[This is absolutely correct. It is just Pezzotta’s claims. Who are his witnesses to prove it happened? What are his documentary evidence to back up his claim? None at all. So, I repeat: THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO VERIFY THE ANECDOTE OF PEZZOTTA. Were you there?]

[Yes, there are misguided Catholics as there are misguided Muslims, Protestants, Born Again Christians. We don’t have the monopoly of this. Even the apostle Paul severely chided the early Galatian Christians for their “foolishness” (Gal. 3:1).]

[Your conclusion does not follow your premise. Even if people are taught to read the Bible, is there any guarantee that they will do the right thing all the time. Satan even went as far as quoting the Bible. Was he ever converted? Or is it even possible to?

Across the years, may people – Protestants and Born Again Christians included – have read the Bible. But is it any guaranty that they will not twist the Scripture? On the contrary, the Bible categorically says, “As also in his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do with other Scriptures, unto their own destruction” (2 Peter 3:16), So what else is new?]

[Aren’t you aware that he did? This goes to show your ignorance of the Bible which also makes you misguided. In Exodus 25:18-22, God did instruct his chosen messenger Moses to create IMAGES of gigantic cherubims. Aren’t these GRAVEN IMAGES? I am astonished that you do not know that.]

[So God teaches a non-biblical doctrine, huh? Remember it was God Himself who INSTRUCTED Moses to create those images in Exodus 25:18-22. I can add more verses but that would be superfluity. It’s enough that there is an instance in the Bible that God commanded the creation of images. So the Bible teaches non-biblical doctrines? You are making the Bible contradict itself. Worse, you make God contradict Himself. Isn’t that blasphemy?]

[As I said these are art pieces that’s why they are put on display for art appreciation. So, if a museum puts on exhibit Buddha, or Bulul or any of the anitos, does that mean the museum also promotes graven images?]

[Sure, why not? But let me just say that the Truth is a Person, not a book. The Truth is Jesus Christ, the Way, the TRUTH and the Life (Jn. 14:16). How come you do not know that? Maybe, you are not in the Truth because if you are, you won’t miss it. And the Word of God is also a Person, not a book – Jesus Christ (Jn. 1:1, Rev. 19:14).

Let me check your citation for the Word of God. You used John 3:32. What does it say? Here: “And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.” Where is the Word of God there? Oops. Please don’t full us with your wrong citations. Be very careful. Your lack of grasp on the Bible shows. And to ask you back your own question, were you not taught the "Word of God"?]
