PASSAGE OF THE IMMORAL RH BILL BEING RUSHED BY ORDER OF PRES. NOYNOY AQUINO

The Immaculate Conception at the Manila Cathedral, the Patroness and Queen of the Philippines: "Our Queen-Mother, we beg you to defend and protect us against the RH Bill. Please destroy the power of the enemies trying to railroad this Anti-Life Bill. We call on you O Immaculate Mother to crush the Serpent of Abortion and Contraception under your feet. Amen."

Thirty-nine years ago in 1972,
barely three months into Martial Law, Ferdinand Marcos issued three legal enforcements
on December 8, Feast of the Immaculate Conception.  These were :
  1. Presidential Decree No. 79 revised Republic Act 6365, authorizing nurses and midwives,
in addition to physicians, to provide, dispense, and administer all acceptable methods of contraception
to those who desire to avail themselves of such services as long as these health workers have been
trained and properly authorized by the POPCOM Board. It directed the National Family Planning Program
to "respect the religious beliefs and values of individuals". The Population Education Program was
established within the Department of Education Culture to provide instruction in population education
for elementary and high school children by training teachers to develop curriculum materials.
Today we know what kind of sex education curricula and draconian contraception and sterilization
programs happened next, with USAID personnel running PopCom's day-to-day operations.
  2. General Order No. 18 enjoined all sectors to promote the concept of "family planning
    and responsible parenthood".
Today we know how the population doublespeak evolved and how they interpreted
    "responsible parenthood".

  3. Letter of Instruction No. 74-A directed the secretary of the Department of Public
Information and the postmaster general to help implement the POPCOM board programs
by disseminating information on family planning.
Today we know how they used psychological warfare tactics and "family planning communications"
to brainwash the media and the academe.
And we all know how all of this was done with the prodding and participation of USAID and UNFPA.

Noynoy and Sonny Belmonte met in Malacanang at 1:30 this afternoon.  After that meeting,
Belmonte admitted that Noynoy wants the RH Bill passed
before Congress adjourns on Wednesday, December 14.

It had to happen on December 8, the same date Marcos issued those three infernal decrees.

Read all about it below.

PNoy pressing House to vote on RH bill — Belmonte
December 8, 2011 1:50pm

President Benigno Aquino III is already pressing the leadership of the House of Representatives to immediately vote on the controversial Reproductive Health (RH) bill, Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. said Thursday.

Belmonte said Aquino requested him during a meeting last week to “do his best” to expedite deliberations on House Bill 4244, or the Responsible Parenthood, Reproductive Health and Population Development Act of 2010.

“Sabi niya, ‘Ano ba ang chances?’ Sabi ko, we have five or six days to go and many people want to interpellate. I’m sorry to admit that we may not be able to put it to a vote now,” he told reporters. “Certainly, we will try to do so when we reconvene. Iyan ang sinabi ko kay President.”

To do this, Belmonte said he will try to “appeal to everybody” to be able to set some ground rules to shorten interpellations on the measure.

“I hope I will have a chance to look over some ground rules that more or less make it more sane and rational. Hindi ‘yung one person interpellating for two or three days, at saka avoid ‘yung mga repetitive questions,” he said.

The RH bill, one of President Aquino’s priority measures, has been undergoing House plenary debates for almost nine months now. The measure promotes both natural and artificial methods of contraception. It is being opposed by the Roman Catholic Church, which accepts only natural methods of family planning.

House Majority Leader Neptali Gonzales II earlier admitted that the chamber will not be able to vote on HB 4244 before year-end since more than 20 House members still want to debate on the measure. He however assured that the bill will be put to a vote next year.

RH bill pinamamadali na ni PNoy– Belmonte
by Meliza Maluntag Dec 8, 2011 4:18pm HKT
